Great place to buy pet feed /food and supplies. Excellent customer service from very nice staff. This is a family owned business that is worth going to and going out of your way to shop. I have personally been a patron of this store for over 15 years.

Just arrived home from picking up some chicken feed and dog food from Bernalillo Feed.
I noticed the bag of chicken crumbles had a couple of tears , I asked the warehouse man to exchange it for a different bag that wasn't ripped, and the owner who was standing a few feet away asked him why he was bringing the ripped bag back into the warehouse.
I responded that I didn't want a ripped bag.
Long story short, he assured me that it was a full bag, and none of the contents had spilled out.
Well, I trusted him, but I have a scale in my garage, and when I got home, I weighed it.
My 50 lb bag only weighed 47 lbs.
I then noticed that the dog food bag that I bought was taped up. It had a huge hole in the bag.
It was 3 lbs light also.
Needless to say, that was the last time I'll buy anything from Mr Honest again.
I know he's not going to miss my 70-80 dollars every 8-9 days. It is all about being fair and honest.

So three weeks ago I went to this place cause they said they had chickens over there so I went over there and put my name on the list for the chickens and saw ducks so I got two ducks. One was London and Daisy and they gave us chicken food and ducks are not supposed to have chicken food, a week later when I have the ducks called again the duck supposed to have food they said yes until they grown up Well ducks are not supposed to have chicken food. That’s why they made chicken food for chickens and duck food for ducks so the third week for a couple of days my duck London was very very sick from the chicken food and we tried everything we could but she didn’t make it. She died yesterday and her sister was very very sad so the next day I called Bernalillo feed store and I talked to the manager and she didn’t care. I told her what happened and she said well have a nice day and bye, that was very very rude for her to say that she could’ve said I’m so sorry and for now on I will give the customers duck food so in the future if you guys buy ducks and if they see, the ducks will be fine if the chicken food do not take the chicken food just an case. This was the worst experience ever and I would never go back to that place.

If I could give these guys zero stars, I would, I cannot believe what just happened to me. I walked in there to make my purchase. I picked up my first item and then went to go pick up my second item and I don’t know if he was the owner, but he walked up on me all crazy like I was trying to steal something and I was explaining to him I was trying to make a decision between two products Before it dawned on me what exactly he was doing. Completely prejudice people I guess you’re not allowed to have tattoos anymore without people thinking that you’re trying to steal from them

A few days ago I purchased two bales of straw at Bernalillo Feed. They looked pretty nice so I went back today for three more. Assuming they would be the same, I purchased them sight unseen on my credit card. When the young man started to load them, I saw clearly they were full of black patches and mold. I stopped him, told him I couldn't use them, and went back inside for a refund. The manager absolutely refused the refund. She walked to the barn with me trailing behind in disbelief, and dragged out three bales that looked fairly good but were not the quality I wanted. She insisted I take them, at which point, in spite of my protests, she told the man to load them on my truck. I asked why she wouldn't give me a refund and she curtly told me I had already made the purchase and the product was available. Never have I been treated in that manner by a business person. Not knowing what else to do I drove on home. A very disturbing experience.

Baby pigs pen was nasty, dead parakeet in cage. I told the lady there was a dead bird, she laughed and said yeah I know. They didn’t have food or water and the birds were in the feeder trying to eat the hulls that were left from the bird seed. Baby rabbits pen was saturated with pee. And when I opened the door to go inside the metal open and close sign swung up and cut my hand. No excuse.

Always helpful sometimes get busy I get to fill up mi gallon of water 💧 Sime times they have free dogs 🐕 and kitties 😸 lookin for a home 🏡 and family friendly people hard working but warning ⚠️ you sometimes would get busy but that's OK 👍 I would miss this place I AM leaving to California very soon Hasta luego Bernalillo 🥲❤️👋
