Terrible extent of treatment capabilities! Extreme overpricing, and dishonest policies that prevent immediate care from being provided effectively. Just left with a bill for a few hundred dollars for them to tell me they had the equipment to determine the severity of a sprain and whether I need surgery, but they can’t get me on the schedule without an outside referral, which they can’t provide, and they also can’t justify that particular imagery in the emergency room setting. Their system is designed to medicate for pain and prolong injuries for the maximum number of billable treatments and visits. Welcome to the wonders of American health care!

Came in in pain left in pain was desperate for help with abdominal pain that wasn't figured out labs weren't gone over with me they did ct scan and all was supposed to be clear so they had me leave they blew out my vein by yanking it out hard as hell!! First doc placed it no problem the lady that yanked it left a golf ball size knot on me for over a week this is it now over a week out just go to reno can't wait to see my bill in the mail for the awesome service.

The nurses Dawn, Barbara, Jonathan and Shad are amazing. Angels on earth all of them. So kind and compassionate. The doctors Shah and Ly and surgeon were fantastic, knowledgeable and clearly explained what was wrong and how they would find a solution. Thank you all for your kindness and care during our stay.

This was the worst ER visit ever experienced. Nursing staff was good but the PA on duty Edward was horrible!! He should not be treating patients. Very condescending, asked ME why I had an EKG when we asked about it, when we asked about blood results he said ask the nurse she ordered it not me and was ready to send me home with no help for what I was there for. I had to ask for him to give a prescription for blood pressure. And thank goodness for my one nurse how unhappy I was, she took action and sent RN Kristy in who explained results etc.
if you need emergency healthcare you’re better off driving to Reno.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Nursing staff was wonderful. Provider was awful. The doctor did not believe me when I told him what happened, he made me feel bad for coming into the Emergency room. He was so unprofessional, arrogant, had zero bedside manner, and treated me like a child. I left the ER with Ibuprofen and an Ice Pack for a dislocated finger. He wouldn’t wrap it, tape it etc. He told me it was just a sprain, when my pinky was 100% dislocated per another Doctor. I have had similar experiences like this at Banner Lassen ER. I waited 4 hours for him to hand me an Ibuprofen and an Ice Pack. In the future, I will never go back here. I will always go to Reno, and recommend anyone else skip Banner Lassen and go to Reno for any care needed.

While traveling in northwest California, Sunday before Thanksgiving, no pharmacies within about 200 miles!, tested positive with Covid, and went to ER to be assessed for treatment. This was the perfect place to be in every way; I score them a 10 on every scale. Much respect and appreciation. The right place to go.

I don't give this hospital any stars. The hospital is not good. They made me wait until 12:50 am to see my son last month. Now, on April 1st, they refused to see my baby when I brought him back because he was sick. They didn't tell me what was wrong with my son. The nurse was mean.

The nurses and staff were great, but the physician was quite rude and accused me of being a junkie. Also, billing messed up on one of the medical charges and did not properly bill the VA, and only found out because of a call from a collection agency saying I owed money. They definitely have some room for improvement.
