We just completed a large home renovation and I can’t say enough good things about working with Atlas. My entire experience was top notch from the service to the expertise to the seamless and easy installation of all our pieces staggered out. They couldn’t have made this part of a large stressful project any easier. From the time I first walked in and met with Elizabeth I knew I was in good hands. She listened and understood my vision and also offered up great advice. She was extremely patient throughout the process and showed me options at different price points. We landed on gorgeous pieces and held out for the perfect piece for our primary bathroom - I knew while working with Elizabeth everything was going to work out! The next steps were just as great - from working with Sophia on scheduling templating and installs, to the guys measuring then the installers. You truly feel like this is a team at the top of their game and that they have such pride in their work and the outcome. The fabrications were done perfectly as well were the installs. I really couldn’t ask for more and I hope to work with them again in the future.

Renovating and restoring a historic 1885 home is not for the faint of heart but there are people you meet along the way that help you take daydreams and ideas and make it your new reality and a true home for your family. My experience with Atlas across the board was above and beyond exemplary. From the first time we met, Elizabeth went out of her way to understand what we were looking for, and offered options and suggestions that fit. She provided details and knowledge to consider that can’t be gotten by just doing your research online - all of which helped inform our decisions. They also had an amazing variety of stone options. I would call our project difficulty level very hard, we had many different stones in different rooms with unique cuts and sometimes multi layered cuts and installations (meaning we couldn’t measure the second batch until the first was in) - they came back so much that I feel like I know their entire team on a first name basis and they were ALL wonderful, from measuring to installation, back end logistics and communications they made us feel like they totally had it all handled and they did. We are just so grateful for the team and the experience - THANK YOU! (will upload better pictures when I can!)

I couldn’t be more thrilled with Atlas. They helped me find the most beautiful quartzite. Now my kitchen is like a work of art from Mother Nature and I’m so happy with the space. They were amazing to work with and had perfect attention to detail and communication throughout. The installers took their time to make it fit perfectly. I also love to support locally-owned companies.

Atlas had a great selection but the real differentiator was with Melanie on the front end and then Ray on the fabrication end of the project. We are not professional kitchen designers but knew the look we were after and knew what we didn’t want. We started looking at Taj Mahal quartzite as it went very well with our white sand /quartersewn white oak cabinets but we really wanted a 2cm backsplash and couldn’t get Taj at 2cm at that time so we had to pivot. We wanted something different and luxurious for this custom kitchen so Melanie showed us Cristallo and then explained the stone to us in detail. After literally making 10+ trips to Atlas and bringing in cabinet samples we decided on the Cristallo and are very happy with the stone and with the instal which included solid backsplashes and 2” build up on the island. In addition we wanted a really different Powder room countertop and custom backsplash and we found a beautiful remnant marble piece in their yard and then Ray and his fabricators cut the slabs and designed a custom backsplash and also cut us custom Nero marble threshold for the powder room. We would definitely recommend Atlas and Melanie to friends and family and if we do another project we will be back.

Insaf was wonderful to work with when choosing the countertop for our new Kitchen. She was knowledgable, professional and very easy to work with.The inventory at Atlas was great, and there so were many choices to choose from.The template crew and installers were also very professional.This is the second time I have worked with ATLAS, and I would never trust such an important project to anyone else!I Our new leathered Taj Mahal Quartzite countertop is perfect!

The team at Atlas Marble and Granite were professional, informative, and patient with me. Best of all, they did an amazing job from start to finish! The installer even took the time to educate me about the stone, which was a much appreciated plus.

This was my first time managing my parents’ rental and I didn’t know where to start. The Atlas team helped me find the most suitable stone for the kitchen, and guided me in ensuring it complimented the existing flooring and new cabinet colors. The stone brings everything together so beautifully! While sharing photos of the space with the team, they also suggested a counter space for a nook that became the talk of many prospective renters.

I can’t thank Atlas enough for their guidance, professionalism, patience, and making this first experience such a positive one.

I look forward to working with Atlas on my next project.

I had a very difficult experience with Atlas, but ultimately they delivered. To start, their template and install lead time was triple most other places (two weeks to schedule a template, 3 weeks to fabricate/install). I found a quartzite I loved there, though, and heard good things about them so I went with them. It seemed like everything that could go wrong went wrong. Within days of installing my counter, a corner just fell off. A stain from their suction machine was still on the center of my island after they tried to buff it out. They wouldn't come out to buff it again until I paid in full. Another part of the counter wasn't sealed properly by them and stains with water. When they later came to install a counter in my basement, they didn't have enough people. Not only did they ask my painter to help (which was inappropriate), but one of the pieces was cut incorrectly. The other piece they dropped and it broke into many pieces, as well as chipped the newly installed floor tile where it fell. When they couldn't replace that counter with the same type of stone, they took me around their "remnants", and gave me a small discount. Because the whole job was being held up by this, I picked a quartz that they could fabricate quickly. I asked for the rest of the slab I had paid for and the incorrectly cut piece so I could keep it in case of further breakage, and they said they couldn't find it.
Early on, I had Atlas quote me also for quartz tops for bathroom vanities. Because of their slow lead times, I decided to work with a different fabricator for that (the quartzite I chose to stay with them because they had the slabs already, and I thought working with this "bigger" company would be more reliable, less likely to have unexpected issues). For the vanities, I chose a smaller company, turnaround times were in days not weeks (2-4 days for template, one week to fabricate/install), the installation went seamlessly, and the price was *several* thousand dollars lower for exactly the same items and the same material. I definitely regret not picking out a different stone and working with the smaller company for my kitchen counter, because I now have paid top dollar for a brand new kitchen counter that already has one piece glued back, is staining, and has a couple concentric circles on it.
Update: Atlas made good on their work and their word. While it was still a difficult experience and in the interest of an honest appraisal I am leaving all the background here, they sent some fabricators to try and remedy the stains on site. They re-sealed the counters. Unfortunately to address the rings/staining pictured here, they had to remove the top and repair it in the shop. They turned it around in 48 hours, and it was just reinstalled and looks great.

Stunning! I am so glad I put my trust in the team at Atlas. I can’t thank them enough for their guidance, patience, and attention to detail.

I have been thinking about a kitchen remodel for over five years. When the time finally came, my contractor recommended I speak with Atlas based on his prior experience with them. I had worked with Atlas on a small project previously and know others who have had nothing but positive experiences with them, so the decision was easy.

I first entered the showroom with a lot of questions. The team happily answered my design questions and guided me to pick the right type of stone. They have a large selection of slabs in stock, but I wanted a certain look so they directed me to a few of the wholesalers they work with based on what I was looking for. After just a couple of places, I found the perfect slabs. Once my cabinets were installed, they came to take the measurements and within two weeks installation was complete.

The piece for my island was large and heavy, 105”x54”, but the team did not have any problems getting it safely inside and installed – I was unnecessarily worried about that. I was also nervous about the countertop seam, but never should have been. The two pieces were from different parts of the stone but whoever laid out the cuts took such care in ensuring the coloring at the seam matches that the seam essentially disappears unless you are specifically looking for it.

I am eager to finish the kitchen and was planning to ask my plumber to stop by the afternoon of the install, so I really appreciated the heads up the install team gave me about letting the installation dry overnight before having a plumber come so that the pieces did not shift. I hadn’t even mentioned my intention so I guess they must see problems regularly from that.

Here are some initial pictures, we are still working on undercabinet electrical, appliances and the backsplash so it is not complete yet.

I’m already talking with Atlas about a couple of other projects I’m working on in the house.
