The most unkind employee I’ve ever encountered at a thrift store. I was told to leave because I brought my babies in a stroller, my youngest is 2 months old so of course I couldn’t hold both kids. Don’t come here if you bring a stroller or a wheelchair, because it will be “too big” according to an employee and they will show you the door immediately. I was so blown away I just walked away without saying anything and sat in my car to cry. additionally it seems they placed their welcome sign, so anyone that does have a stroller or a wheelchair has so find their way around. Respect is not in there repertoire…

I go to this Assistance League for women’s clothing, decor (see photo), and pots for my plants.
They also have jewelry, shoes, purses, kids clothing, toys, dinnerware.
4/5 stars because the store is small-ish and prices are sometimes $10+ which is a hint expensive for certain secondhand items.
But I’ve also seen Anthropologie and originally expensive clothing for like $6 - $12, which I love.

I always get great deals and they run sales every now and then. Get on their mailing list so you would know. Last week they had the $1 sale... so awesome.

I always go with my baby in the stroller because every time the ladies always say hi to her, makes my baby so happy? . Good deals so it’s best to sign up to know when to go , it’s just as good as the other assistance league in HB.

I am disgusted by the how they treat my mom here today. She donates and buys from this location. It today some lady who just started volunteering here approached my mom and accused her of putting item in her bag. This is insulting, my mom’s English is really basic and she wasn’t able to defend herself. I am disgusted that people like this work here.

Sweet little treasure box!
This store and it's friendly volunteers reminded me of the little, well-organized charity shops I love so much in the UK.

The clothes section was small, but the items seemed like decent brands in nice shape. The housewares were really nice! I got some gorgeous Christmas collectables for a great deal and my friend found a terrific sake set.
Will definitely visit again ant time I am in the area.

For the time being the Thrift Shop now only takes donations until 1pm Wed - Sat. They take clothing, housewares, toys, etc. but not furniture. It is a small shop so they only keep the very best quality donations to sell.
