Amazing store there are plenty of comics and amazing staff if you are a patient individual this is the place for you… if you are not patient complain at the next comic book store

I went here back in late August of 2024 for a pre-grade look (silver age) from Alex. I figured this would be the place to go after reading previous reviews. It took roughly 6-7 months to get them back but he was spot on with his grading thoughts. Said about a 3.5 to 4 and it turned out to be a 4.

I can't speak of the comics in the store though everything from $1 books to slabbed CGCs are everywhere (plus figures). He's very friendly and knows his stuff. I would happily go back for anything comic related.

This place was everything I wanted and more for getting back into collecting comics. So many priced at one dollar and Seems like thousands for three dollars so instantly started my collection again. The employees also were terrific and very helpful

This comic book store was awesome to go see. I went here looking for comic books to use as props for some photography photos. The people in the store were nice and answered all my questions that I had. They lots of figures on one side of the store and on the other side it is full of comics. Each side has large displays of different superheroes and villains.

A clever thing they have is bundles of comic books. They have the entire series from the first to the last comic so that a person wont have to hunt them down. This is great because if next time I come in that what I might get. This was a very fun experience.

Shout out to Alex and his dad who made my first comic by experience one to remember. I walked in the store and both of them greeted me. I’ve been responded with I have never bought a comic in my life and I’m here to buy all of your gay comics. True story. I had a list of comics that I wanted, which I knew were in stock because the website was very efficient. Alex rose to the occasion and got on his knees to find every comic on the list. His father even chimed in and recommend it a comic was featured the first gay superhero. I am so happy and grateful for their assistance which allowed me to find LGBTQ representation in the fictional comic book world. They also added me to their call list to let me know when the Marvel and DC pride comics Come out in June. Thank you so much to these men who made this experience wonderful.

A&S Comics is a solid 5-star NJ Comic shop! Worth a trip or visit if you are on an NJ comic crawl or in the area. This is a classic old school shop and the sheer content this place has is amazing.

First, an amazing indexed selection of bagged and boarded comics that are housed in rugged wood drawers! No flimsy cardboard holding this collection. I found a bunch of comics I couldn't find elsewhere and it was amazingly organized. Reasonably priced as well.

Additionally, there were bargain bin trade paperbacks, toys, magazines and other treasures to be found in this excellent store. The owner was pleasant and helped me find what I was looking for.

A&S is content heavy, so there are boxes of product all over the place and on top of things. Organized where it counts (back issues), this is a good kind of chaos in my opinion and it allows one to search and find books you may not have known existed.

This place reminded me of my childhood comic book shop that I grew up shopping in. You don't see shops like this that often. Don't pass by this LCS without checking it out.

A great store with lots of inventory and happy to order items. I brought my kids in and they were very kind to them-I was worried they would be annoyed but they were so helping looking for items we needed. Highly recommended!
