Breakfast is ok but they only have quickly lunch and no suppers.
If you want your waitress to get her tip , make sure you give it to them .
Someone and I won't mention any name, likes to give you a little coffee and then take two or three dollars from the tips , saying she help she deserves it.
To me that stealing , those waitress with there low pay deservesever tip they work for

There is a lot to be said for consistency, they are open the same hours all the time. When you roll out of bed on your day off and yes on occasion I sleep in, I want to know the resturaunt I plan on dinning at will be open. I tried Carolyn's today because the breakfast place I usually frequent was once again inconsistent on thier hours. This being said. I am glad I tried Carolyn's.The waitstaff is very friendly, very accommodating, they keep the coffee full! I will be honest, I always order Chicken fried Steak. That is what I ordered today. It was not horrible but it did not wow me, it was alright. The hashbrowns were not as crispy as I like but they were okay. I think just a few more minutes on food prep and maybe consider a new food supplier, maybe ad a pinch of paprika some seasoning on the food would improve it. Cooking is an Artform and a craft and we can always learn to improve.I think maybe even investing in some mild spices like Thyme, a pinch of Garlic,maybe a pinch of Onion powder. That being said I will try them again. It is not the kind of place you wake up craving, but it is clean, friendly, reliable seemingly, and sufficient. I look forward to seeing them improve. Great price decent food..off the beaten trail. It is better than fast food

I called up there to schedule a to go order and they had the worst attitude about it, I go eat here often the food is great but some of the customer service from some of the workers is sad.
