Store has a rotating stock of anime accessories, stickers, figures, plush and charms ā€” my favorite has been these Kirby cat hats >:)

I donā€™t normal review stuff but I had to come out and say how amazing Anime island is. Iā€™ve lived in El Cerrito the last few years and have only just started going here, but boy howdy am I disappointed I didnā€™t go sooner. Every single staff member is sooo nice and helpful. They always want to make sure you feel cared about. Their products are extremely diverse and very very reasonably priced. I literally canā€™t say enough about how amazing these guys are. Theyā€™re the absolute best and Iā€™m proud to call myself a customer for life.

The selection is on point. There is nowhere better to buy yugioh cards in the entire east bay, even SF. The people who work there are friendly as well. I finally barted there yesterday after being told to go by friends for over a year. 10/10 will be visiting again soon

Unique spot for TCG and anime hobbies. Probably your only choice north of Berkeley. Plenty of play area for TCGs like Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece. Owner aims for the environment to be kid and family friendly.

A gem of a store.
Staff is knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Especially Amy.
Prices are better than Japantown and waaaaaaaay more convenient for us East Bay dwellers.
Daughter outfitted for Halloween and could not have been happier.

It may be small but I think itā€™s pretty decent as they do have figurines,comics,mangas, and also accessories from certain animeā€™s and also a box from the manga with some of the sagas they were all also nice so I would probably come again and its decently cheap for some figurines unlike other popular anime stores
