Everything is so over price… my sister lost all her hair due to chemotherapy. And I was looking for a wig, I explained the situation, they wanted $27 for an old wig. All their items are donated. They’re all about the money they make. All the workers are volunteers . No real help for cancer victims….💔💔

Bought a blanket that said $14 and when I went to pay, they over charged me(I paid 20) I know it first said $14 because I wouldn’t have bought it if it said $20, I can buy a new blanket at that price. I go back to double check if she can show me my tag(that they rip off when ringing you up for some reason, what’s the reason? So they can fix the price) and the cashier goes in the back and shows me a tag for a blanket with different measurements for what I bought and says she can’t help. Joke of a store. Go to a different thrift store! Redlands thrift is great

This place USED to be reasonable priced but it’s ran by two new women now and everything is expensive, they think “oh older folks are donating this, it’s must be worth more” I can tell they look everything up eBay then price it - $40 for a pair of shoes that was DONATED to you for FREE just because of the brand? They are used and that almost what they cost new!! I can just go and get a new pair for that price!!! Not everyone is a “reseller” not everyone is a “tik toker” looking to flip, I also noticed that they changed the demographic of the type of people they want in, it’s obvious they don’t want lower income people shopping there, … I’ll never come here, not that they need my business anyway, still can’t get over $40 for a USED pair of shoes they got DONATED FOR FREE

American Cancer Society Discovery shop is a small thrift shop.
It's run by a bunch of elderly ladies who are super friendly and welcoming.
They have a small selection of clothing and goods.
A few good finds and the prices are decent.

I've visited many many times and have almost always come away with a gem! I have a pair of white bell bottoms, a pretty choker, a few dresses I love, along with a few gifts for friends such as a ceramic turtle planter. The items are well curated, so it isn't often (or at all in my experience) you'll come across a nice garment with stains or rips. The furniture pieces are lovely, the prices are fair, and the volunteer workers are all extremely kind. Their displays are well put together and often have events in which they will pull out themed clothing or items in addition to their regular stock (once, they had a Valentino slip dress that was only $40 though I didn't have any use for it and therefore left it to someone else's collection) 10/10 would recommend!
