Amelia Island Clothing and Gifts located in 308 Centre St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 is a great Clothing store for the very best printed tshirts and memorabilia of Amelia Island. Featuring Comfort Colors (thick and super high quality) as a big part of their lineup. Owner is very welcoming and staff is friendly too! Very reasonable prices - highly recommended!!!

Great variety of souvenir t-shirts and sweatshirts. But, be forewarned. I picked my favorite and went to check out with the owner behind the desk. The store was not busy when I was there, so there was no chaos in the store. My sweatshirt cost $39.99. Adding sales tax should bring the total to $42.38 (or $42.39). I was given a credit card receipt to sign that showed $45.50. I questioned the cost of the sweatshirt and was told $39.99. I mentioned that the total didn't seem correct. I asked for an itemized receipt. The owner pointed to my credit card receipt and said "that's your receipt." I should have left the sweatshirt and walked out; but, I was too stunned at the confrontation. My mistake! Pretty nice gig if you can get it - Let's say 100 sales in a day, scam $3.12 off each sale, $312 bonus per day. Honesty in business matters! I will not be back.

Based on the other reviews...I'm not the only one who was verbally assaulted by the owner for not buying. I asked for a price...Larry (the owner I presume) said "read the sign". The tiny price tag required me to take off my glasses to read it. I said out loud "$3.99". After I replaced the item, the guy shouted "you're so cheap, go to a different town". Our extremely loud conversation went downhill from there. I wont be intimidated, but I took Larry's advice and cruised town immediately.

The owners were very friendly to our family. We love our sweatshirts! We questioned our decision on one of the sweatshirt's decal that we had chosen and he was willing to exchange for another. Our experience was wonderful. We purchased 5 sweatshirts and 1 tee shirt. Definitely recommend this store.

After shopping about and looking through items, we were prepared to leave and the owner yells at my girlfriend asking where she had put one of those little squishy toys. She replied that she put it back and he processed to yell at her to put it back exactly where she found it. After she walks to the back to move the item over about a foot. The owner begins to yell at my girlfriend and her sister and her sisters boyfriend and me to leave his store, this was apparently because we didn’t buy anything and we were playing around. To explain how we acted in the store is basically imagine walking into a gift shop and just looking at different trinkets and items of clothing like every other person. None of which was playing around. It seemed to feel as if he was trying to keep us in the store longer to yell at us for not buying something. Highly don’t recommend you shop here and hope the owner can change how he acts with possible customers.

Me and my boyfriend came into the store a little before 6:00 and were planning on buying a tshirt. The man asked if he could help us, and we told him we were just looking. He went on a rant about it being after 6:00 and he stayed over for 7 minutes. He tapped his watch. So, he was rudely asking us to leave, even though we were going to buy something. After we left, he tried to lure us back in. I do not recommend supporting this business.

After shopping at the other overly expensive store, this store was a pleasure. Got a nice zip up sweatshirt for the "winter", & got to pick from several decals for free.
The man behind the counter was extremely nice. All these negative posts must have been about someone who used to work there.
