Poor service, poor attitude, poor helplessness.
We made an appointment to look at dresses for a wedding. We specified that when walking in. We were met with attitude from the moment we walk in to this dingy place. When we asked about certain items & tailoring the response was “that’s strange”. Not accommodating at all. There aren’t many options to begin with but for further reference, what you see is what you get. Some pieces have “extra fabric” & some don’t. This lady whom is the owner didn’t do anything to help us find anything & treated us as though we didn’t belong there. However, she decided to be offended when we didn’t purchase anything despite her attitude, despite the fact that she clearly doesn’t pay attention to her inventory to know she’s giving dresses that are broken or damaged in some way for customers to try on,
despite her not actually picking out dresses for the occasion we specified, despite her not pulling any dresses at all, despite her telling us she didn’t have any of the sizes we were looking for, despite her contraindicating herself about the tailoring that she doesn’t do. I’d give her a negative 0 out of anything if I could.
Would NOT recommend!! If you’re brown other than Indian you’re, better off going to the other places in Allentown or out of state.

Ambilika’s Indian Boutique has beautiful dresses and Dolly helped me find the perfect lehenga for a wedding. Dolly even found a seamstress to alter the dress so that it would fit perfectly. She went above and beyond. Highly recommend this boutique.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Ambilikas Indian Boutique. The owner was incredibly rude, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in addressing my concerns. She asked me what I was looking for. When I responded with what my friend needed for a wedding, her response was “I’m not a miracle worker”. We were met with a condescending attitude and curt reactions from the moment we entered the store. Not to mention the one dress she did pull out for my friend had a very uncooperative zipper. Product quality was comparable to SHEIN. When we realized the owner had nothing to accommodate my friend (which she repeated multiple times), we decided to leave. She snapped back and stated we were a waste of time. (30 mins) I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone seeking respectful and courteous service. If you do not wish to work in Customer Service, then DON'T!

My uncle died on Thursday and I was able to get an appointment on Friday on a very short notice. I am 5’6 and 220lbs, I was measured at my appointment and I am size 52 bust. Customer service was excellent, my indian wear fits perfect and I felt so beautiful and comfortable.
I was nervous about my appointment because of my size but I had more than enough options to choose from. I would recommend this boutique 100%. Thank you Dolly for everything. ❤️

A few months ago, had an Indian wedding to attend and my daughter was looking to shop for an outfit. Normally our option would be to travel to NJ but with our busy schedule I decided to try searching for something nearby. What a pleasant surprise it was to find this lovely shop conveniently right up the road from us in Bath. We were immediately accommodated with an appointment and when we arrived welcomed with great customer service! My experience at Ambilika’s was outstanding. The owners, Dolly, Raj and their daughter Puja were exemplary host because I felt like they invited me to their home. I was given individual one on one attention and every detail concerning my dress was addressed, such as jewelry and even suggestions on how I should wear my hair to compliment my attire. The selection of clothes are exquisite and beautiful. Quality, beauty, professionalism, great customer service, friendliness and a serene atmosphere all describes this amazing boutique. Thank you for a lovely experience!!!!!! I will be back again.
