used to come here somewhat frequently, and always made a purchase when I went to support local. prices were good enough, staff is friendly. but today for the prismatic evolutions drop, they were charging $150 a box, well above market and 3x MSRP! I was waiting outside before opening hours with a small queue, but when we saw the pricing, everyone in line left. I and my friends and family won't be coming back, and I advise everyone to stay away. pure greed from this store!

extremely disappointing, considering for the last pokemon release I had a great experience and even paid slightly under MSRP for the equivalent product.

very well organized place! the kiosk system is cool and clean atmosphere. I got a lot of pokemon cards that I thought would be hard to find for my collection here and excited to come back

- Excellent Magic: The Gathering selection, lots of trading card options, box sets, and rare singles.
- Small location, think hole in the wall (looking at Google pictures it may have been a bigger location in the past? - unsure honestly).
- Lots of great retro games.

Lots of Sega Genesis games/including other retro systems, great vintage game selection. Trading card boxes for storage, sleeves, hard cases, anything you would need for trading cards. There was a decent sized area for tabletop/trading card gaming.

The one thing I didn't like was when I mentioned I went to other gaming stores in the valley one of the employees mentioned a bad experience about a competitor who I had just visited. However a different employee talked highly of a couple other competitors so it was an interesting hot-take, probably shouldn't be talking down on other local gaming stores is my two cents there.

Desert Sky Games does trading cards really well, specifically they had an amazing selection of Magic cards.

I recently visited in order to buy a gift for one of my children. Not knowing a lot about Magic the Gathering myself, the employees were so patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me find exactly what my child wanted. I appreciate the attentiveness to customers and the wide availability of products.

Genuinely — and I mean, GENUINELY. Who the hell is Justin to be extremely rude with the customers? I tried to cooperate with this employee (if he should even be called that), and all I got back was smart talk and insults. I'm upset.

HUGE SCAM, they reseal packs here! Or at least some of them. I bought 10 packs of pokemon today and none of them had anything, which would be fine if it weren’t for the very badly resealed pack of ahem.. Paldea Evolved.. wink wink 😒 Anyways one of the packs we bought was VERY badly resealed, it was half open and i didn’t realize until after I had paid and went to my car. Now thinking back on it, Ive never pulled anything good here even though I buy most packs from here so it’s very obvious they are scammers. They have low prices for single packs for a reason. Never coming back here again, this store is terrible. 👎🤦

your employee, Justin, called me a homophobic slur as I was walking out, and was very rude during my time in the store. He needs to be kinder, and also should be fired. Will not be returning. Very disappointing.
