Been here a couple of times when I'm visiting family in the area. Very cozy bookstore with great deals and specials (lots of buy-one-get-one-free and similar offers).

There's a lot to look at in the mystery and romance sections, and smaller selections in the other genres, but still good for the overall size of the store. Also worth noting that given the main demographic of The Villages, you won't find much to read for kids and young readers — not an issue for me, but might be good to know for those looking to pick something up for children/grandchildren.

It feels nice to get a good deal on a well-loved book and support a local business, especially with prices being what they are at big-name stores these days. I always look forward to dropping in; recommended.

Nice little used book store. I found an autographed hardcopy of a newer 1st edition book. They will take books in on trade (store credit), but the valuation website they use provides a very lowball offer for the books, and only 50% of the credit can be used at the time of purchase.

Cute enough for where it is. If you are looking for romance books, then here is your spot. Outside that, most of the genres are on their own sing 4 by 8 bookshelf.

Really small, cute used book store. While the selection was pretty limited for anything other than mystery or romance, thats more a function of the people who shop there and not the store itself. Clerk was really polite (a rarity in Florida I've found) and the shop was clean, well lit, and had a wonderful smell of old books. Definitely worth browsing!

I love this book store. I am an avid reader n I'm old school, still enjoy the paper copy of a book vs the computer. The selection is fantastic n the staff is always friendly n knowledgeable. The stores macott is awesome, the Cat in the box🙂 I have been going to the book store for over 5 yrs n would recommend it to all n have in the past.👍👍
