Very convenient supermarket close to our hotel. We stopped here to purchase supplies and snacks (like strawberries, fresh breads, etc) during our stay in Amsterdam.

They also have Yakult here which is my wife and 6 year old daughter’s favourite. I’m not surprised as, I believe, the Yakult sold in Europe is made in the Netherlands.

Self checkout was fine. Figuring out how to tap the card was a little difficult as the tap terminal isn’t something I’ve seen before. Once you see it, you realize how easy it is.

You need a receipt barcode to exit the store by scanning the code to open the gate.

Most lazy workers I have experience in Albert Hein Amsterdam, lazy, unfriendly, avoid this particular store, prefer to walk extra miles to see a friendly face and quality service

Today at 10:25 I was paying for my products. Your staff (blond woman) came to check it and took ALL the products out of my bag, checked and never put it back, just left it on the table. If YOUR staff took it out it should be them who puts it back. She rejected to help and to call the manager. I will also write a complaint on your website of course.

Great for groceries and for having good value for money. Staff is always helpful, very friendly, lots of choices, regularly offers on the App and in Stores. You may use the App for additional offers and may have checkout with an cashier or self checkout. Quality is amazing and prices are really good.
