After a few not-so-pleasant experiences at other shops looking for a prom dress with my daughter, I was pleasantly surprised by our experience with Aimee Michele bridal. We had no appointment but were taken care of promptly. Our sales associate was so helpful! My daughter was a little apprehensive because of our previous experiences. The associate put my daughter at rest. I can’t thank her enough for that. She combed through all the dresses to try to find the perfect dress for my daughter.
They had hundreds of dresses!
This will be my first stop for me or my daughters for our future formal dress neees!

So thankful for Hallie and Aimee! I started to get overwhelmed from going to other boutiques and stores to look for a wedding dress and I genuinely found the sweetest women alive! They were beyond patient and helpful from beginning to end! I didn’t know what style looked good on me, and was so blessed to have Hallie show me styles that I never imagined trying on. They really want your dream wedding dress to become a reality, this isn’t like the corporate wedding stores. They really care about you and your special day! I had the most incredible experience at Aimee Michelle! Normally I have a really difficult time finding dresses that fit my body type especially my chest 34DDD. Dress shopping is always a nightmare leaving me feeling defeated. I decided to try out Aimee Michelle Bridal & Prom and they were absolutely wonderful! They listened to me and found dresses that fit my body type to a T!!! I was shocked!!! I wanted to buy every dress!! They even presented a dress that I would’ve normally said no to but when I tried it on, I fell in love with it and that is the one I purchased! Afterwards Hallie recommended an incredible seamstress who was local and close to my home! She even called her to let her know to expect me after I purchased my gown!! It was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back to purchase more dresses from them in the future!

I absolutely love Aimee Michelle Bridal & Prom! Their customer service, attention to detail and beautiful dresses make each experience stress-free and memorable! I was remarried in June and they were able to help me choose the perfect dress that was exactly what I had envisioned! I also just purchased a dress for my daughter for her upcoming cotillion, she loves it and teen girls can be quite tough to shop with but the sales team was so engaged and great to work with, it’s in March and I’ll def post pics her dress is stunning Highly recommend

Aimee and her daughter, Halle, turned our frowns upside down! After a very less than appreciable experience at a chain dress shop down the pike from them, Aimee and Halle greeted us with kindness and warmth to start. They helped us from start to finish by listening to our desires for the perfect dress, met us after each fitting with honest opinions (not just to make coin off the most expensive dress in the shop), and they made our DREAM dress come true!! Aimee Michelle is the only shop in the Philadelphia area that carries Woná and Eva Lendel, one of my favorite designers in my budget. When I called to make an appointment, I asked how long the appointment was and was told, “as long as it takes you to find your dress!”

Everyone who works there is passionate about making everything perfect. Laidback but also no-nonsense. They made suggestions about alterations, veils, jewelry, etc. to make things just right. Got fabric from other dresses to help me imagine strapless dresses with sleeves etc.

The selection here was, in my taste, the best selection of all 5 shops I visited. 2 of my top 3 were here, and they offered to order more if I wanted it.

I ended up falling in love with a Woná Concept dress, and they sold me the sample so I could have it in my budget!

AND OMG THE SEAMSTRESS. I think I was told she moved recently, but I need to gush about how amazing she is. My dress was a lot and suuuuuuper beaded, and I had her change the back entirely. Every teeny tiny detail was immaculately perfected, and I felt the dress was really uniquely mine.

They know what they’re doing at Aimee Michelle Bridal. Aimee and Hallie were incredibly helpful. Went in for a rental and ended up purchasing the suit! Their expertise, attention to detail and offering in-house alterations made my experience seamless. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely disgusted

In July, I went to Aimee Michelle to shop around for bridesmaids dresses. After my sister tried in a few dresses, we found one we really liked. My wedding is October 20th, and we had finalized the order for 5 bridesmaid dresses mid July. I had to pay for express shipping to get them in September. I had received an email the day I paid the deposit to confirm the dress style that I selected.

Fast forward to the end of September, my sisters went to the store to pick up and try on their dresses. THEY ORDERED THE WRONG DRESSES. The dresses that came in were a lot more revealing and needed a lot more alterations to fit my girls. I was so, so upset because there simply is not enough time now to reorder the dresses.

The next day, I went in to view the dresses for myself. Even though the owner and the sales person I ordered from were made aware of the situation and were told I was coming in, they were not in the store. My sister went to try on her dress again, and they misplaced it! They gave her the wrong dress to try on and the woman spent 20 minutes tracking down the dresses! I was not happy with the dresses because of how loose the top of the dress was and how revealing it was. The woman working there told me that she can either give me a discount or can do the alterations for free. That was NOT good enough for me. I paid $600 deposit to order the dresses, and I had to pay another $400 when I picked them up. I was going to pay $1000 for these dresses. This was not a small purchase. I was not about to pay $1000 for dresses that I did not order and do not want.

The woman working there kept telling me that the mistake was not her fault, it was “the woman upstairs that sends the emails”. It absolutely does not matter to me whose fault it was. At the end of the day, I have an email confirming what I wanted and it is the stores responsibility to fulfill the order I paid for. They were not sympathetic and they were unwilling to really help me out after they had messed up my order. Three weeks before my wedding, I do not have bridesmaid dresses for my wedding because of them. I will NEVER shop here again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.
