This place is amazing!! My sister came here and they helped her try on dresses and were so patient!!! It took a while to make a decision and it was such a good experience! They have such a wide variety of dresses and so much more! So much room for family to join and was so cozy and beautiful!! Would definitely recommend!!!

I had a wonderful experience at A Dressy Occasion! After a nightmare experience at another local bridal shop… I was nervous about finding the dress. Emily helped me with trying on dresses… but not only that, she found the exact dress online that I loved and had tried on at another store, and ordered it and rushed the order to their store in time for my wedding in a couple months. I now have my dream dress ordered and also an alterations lady booked that was also recommended by her! Love this bridal shop and would highly recommend this place if you are looking for classy and cute modest dresses!!?

I don't post negative reviews but yikes, they definitely need to treat customers better. I definitely wasn't "worth" their time when I walked in with my friend visiting from out of state. They rudely told us that they were closing in 15 min even though the sign on the door stated that closing time was 3 hours later‍♀️
Also, I had previously purchased three of the dresses they had in stock from different online retailers...all of them were out of season and less expensive from the boutiques online. I will keep getting my dresses from Ivy City and Jessakae. Picture of a few of my dresses for reference.

I have bought 6 casual and semi-formal dresses from A Dressy Occasion and they are my favorite dresses in my closet!! I cannot get enough of them and I get excited to wear them every chance I get. They fit so nice, are very comfortably, and EXTREMELY fashionable! I get so many compliments every time I wear one of those dresses.

Also, the girls at the store are always so helpful and kind. They helped me find the dresses that fit me best and give great opinions.

I am also a wedding photographer and so many of my brides get their dresses from A Dressy Occasion--let me say, I am always adjusting, fluffing, or laying out the dresses and I can always tell a difference in the quality of dress when it is from A Dressy Occasion. There's just something about their wedding gowns that is the most flattering and helps the bride glow on their wedding day!

I will always recommend A Dressy Occasion to anyone looking for any kind of dress--casual, semi-formal, formal, or wedding--because they have the prettiest styles around!!!

Terrible service. Left feeling like unless I’m dropping big bucks, I’m not worth their time.

We weren’t greeted, offered any help, and barely acknowledged. While checking out, instead of talking to us, the employees discussed a bride who had left and didn’t buy anything, their plans for the rest of their shift, and bundled up my formal dress into a shopping bag.
They only stopped their conversation to take my payment.

Unfortunately the dress we needed was at this store, otherwise I would have left and spent my money anywhere else.

I’d been to a lot of bridal stores before this one looking for a wedding dress, and this store was the best experience by far! The consultant Lauren was so friendly and so attentive to what I was looking for, as well as super respectful to my tastes. She even pulled some accessories that helped accentuate the look and was very knowledgeable! She made it such a special experience for me and my group. And the dresses are gorgeous! They had exactly what I was looking for; finding “the one” was honestly a magical experience. And all my bridesmaids and my mom found their dresses here the same day because they had so many options in my colors! 10/10 experience

My all time favorite place to come for dresses! I got my wedding dress from here, my temple dress, and a bunch of other church or bridesmaid dresses. Anytime I need a dress for an occasion I come here because they have stuff that looks amazing as a bridesmaid dress but can also double as a church dress!! Not to mention how amazing the customer service is, every girl is so nice and sweet! Literally every dress I have from there makes me feel so beautiful!
