Looking for good food with a lot of local color ? Here you go. About as country, hole in the wall, off the beaten path as you can get. Definitely a local favorite way hunters, farmers sheriffs etc. Three different people told me about the bbq sandwich here and they were right. It’s a good one. My partner grabbed the cheeseburger and was happy with that too. Be sure and write your name on the wall before you leave.

Good place for a variety of items. Had lunch here with co-worker and hamburgers are awesome. Got onion rings as a side and they were good but just tad overdone. Place is not much to look at but it has that local flavor and food.

Wonderful little country store. The building and atmosphere reminds me of something from my childhood in the 70's. Not much as far as store items go..just some snacks and drinks. But the deli food is delicious, the service is great, the prices are reasonable,and the people(and dog) are very friendly. Definitely a place I would return to next time I travel through the area. Just off the interstate and easy to get to for breakfast and lunch. Deli closes before evening so don't arrive too late.

My brother swears this place has the best Bar-B-Que sandwiches around . So I went with him for lunch one afternoon . I usually don't eat a whole sandwich. Let me tell you ! I ate every single bite. Should've known he's older and knows about some things more than me. The older the wiser. And as Bruce would say we're older than dirt. ?
