I shopped Bashas grocery store for the first time and boy I was so impressed with the whole set up in this store. Clean and everything was organized. Such a clean store to have in shiprock, NM.

ESy place to park a semi and lots of food choices. However the parking lot is filthy, full of homeless Indians begging for money. I parked for one night. And all night long the bums beat on my window asking for money. Will never stop there again!!!

For a city slicker. Good source for shopping. Was able to buy Mutton and ingredients for comfort food. Fry bread, cookies, sodas, snacks etc.

Run down area, but kind of have no choice near to buy grocery last minute near the reservation. There is homeless people there that will bug you relentlessly. At times there's drama and crime in the area, be mindful of your surroundings.

The shopping center used to have a store called city market and it's now called bash's I go here with my partner to pick up food for his family. It's on the Navajo reservation they had been hit hard by covid and still are being hit hard by it. When you visit stores on the Navajo reservation please do as they ask and wear your mask. It shows them you respect them. I haven't visited all of the stores in the shopping center but maybe next time. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Kwanzaa, and many others and happy new years.

There are no public restrooms , lots of stray dogs. Haven't seen any crime take place the last few visits, which is a nice surprise
