This is the BEST music shop in Arizona! It is an amazing place that has everything!...and the prices are the best. I have gone there over the years to buy new and used instruments, ie, guitars, ukuleles, etc., and for repairs. John can fix and repair anything! He has also made a variety of great "One Of A Kind" custom instruments for me! (see pictures). I take my family and friends there to see the fabulous selection of everything musical! And, we usually come out with something we like! This is a must see place and the owner, John,
is such a great person! Don't miss out on going to John's Corner Music Shop!

John's is the perfect small town music store. Brought my granddaughter in to have a string replaced on her guitar and John not only replaced all the strings, he refurbished the guitar and made it playable for HER, all the while teaching her about guitar maintenance. Perfect interaction for a young girl just starting out on her musical journey. Also, while we were in there, numerous musicians rolled through making incredible deals with John on all sorts of instruments and equipment.
We'll be back when it's time to upgrade the granddaughter's guitar or if she ever has any needs for her current one.

What type of dude repairs your guitar for free even when you were expecting to pay for the fix and tune up. Seriously who does that! Really a gem that any musician needs to shop at.

I walked in to this shop for the first time ever. John just gave me an Ovation guitar case. Who does that? This is my new favorite music shop! I will be back there again for sure. The case was a vintage brown deep bowl, and my celebrity series 6 string fits perfectly. It’s a little worse for wear, but the hinges and locks are fine. I will post a picture when I am done restoring it.

Honest and highly recommended!

Some of my strings were buzzing, so I dropped my guitar off at John's Corner for a change of strings and a setup. After oiling the fretboard and changing the strings, Chris and Jack discovered that the buzzing had gone away. When I came back for my guitar, I was only charged $10 (the price of the strings). They could have easily told me they had made minor adjustments to the neck and charged me another $25 for the setup, but they didn't.

Let me add that $25 for a setup is by far the best price anywhere in Prescott. I'll definitely be checking John's Corner first for any of my future music needs.

Great service, great owners! Cheapest guitar setups in towns. Not like other places around here that change $80 or more, just to make a few quick adjustments, and call it a day.
