At approximately 10:30, I was rudely told to get out of the mall by a woman only identified as the mall manager. She said that I was loitering and no loitering was allowed. However, the Mall opens early and I was there at 10 AM when the doors open and I was waiting for the shops to open and they do not open until 11 AM. I work from home and had my own power equipment, my own internet and my laptop to abide my time well until the shops opened. I was sitting in the area right outside the mall office and there was an older white gentleman sitting next to just sitting there and he was not bothered by my presence. He left and continued walking around the mall looking in shops but not buying anything. There were others also sitting and others walking ( seniors who are known as “mall walkers” doing exercise.) No one was buying anything.
The manager walked up to me and rudely spoke to me saying to get my stuff and stop freeloading and loitering and that I should go to library and this isn’t an Internet cafe. When she initially approached me she said she wanted to know if they could clean up the drink that I had spilled on accident and I said yes, that I was looking for something to clean it up but that I didn’t see anything there in the food court and was waiting till things opened. I responded that she was being rude and could have been kinder in her approach and she told me again that I was loitering but never addressed the man sitting just a few feet in front of me who was doing the same thing except not doing any work. I had my own personal power source and my own equipment to reiterate that I was not violating any mall rules. I have video to support my claim. No one else was asked to leave or purchase anything, yet she stated that the reason she was asking me to leave was because I wasn’t buying anything and she didn’t want me freeloading or bothering anyone. I stated I do buy and I was going to buy my food and drinks as soon as the shops opened. At the moment she walked up on me, I was in the middle of finishing up and email and listening to a message from my boss on my phone which came in at 11:04 AM . The shops open at 11:00. She then proceeded to call security . When he arrived, she claimed she called them to remove a portable scaffold, but then said get her away from me. I never approached her, and had immediately got up and began removing my equipment from the start. I asked her why she didn’t tell anyone else to leave and she claimed they were not loitering. Oh and I cleaned up my drink as soon I was able to get something to clean it up with. I have video and photos to support my claim.

This mall has many interesting features from Live Theater to Sporting Facilities and Fitness Studios. Local businesses are right along side national retailers. Personal services such as a nail salon and photography studio are or will be available. The food court is lacking businesses but was very clean and hopefully will soon have all spaces rented. Mall walkers will enjoy the ample space and sponsored events such as the annual Christmas Decorations. Places to sit and people watch, wait for the shoppers in your family, or just take a rest are clean and comfortable. There is a nice cafe to meet and work or just socialize with friends and family. A nice place to visit and gather without a huge crowd.

Unfortunately, this mall is losing its attraction. But parents are screaming that there is nothing to do in SV. That's wrong. Batting cage is just one of them where kids could go. It has a variety of things for kids to go.

Loved the Mall at Sierra Vista. There's a nice selection of stores inside, a spacious food court and a Cinemark theater! It wasn't too crowded when I went, but I did arrive pretty early in the morning. It's pretty small compared to other malls I've been to, but it was still really fun walking around!

Candela; new place to eat in the mall.
Menu consists of hot dogs, nachos, fries, grilled cheese, chips, ice cream, candies and drinks. Pricing is definitely reasonable, food taste good, service is fast and friendly. Will be going again to try other varieties of hot dogs..pictured is the American dog and vanilla ice cream both were tasty.

This isn't a "mall". It's a very small building with just a handful of niche shops. The Dillard's and the movie theater are the only real reasons to go there. Very disappointing.
