I've bought many guns here over the last 8 months or so and have to say this is a great shop. I hit it off with the owner right away and have built a good relationship with him and the staff.

For all the people complaining about attitude, or prices, I would offer the following:

1. Pricing: We are in the worst shortage of firearms, ammo and accessories since 2008. Things will be hard to get, and prices have risen, yes, even at other shops. The other shops I frequent have increased prices, and most just don't have the inventory that Goliath has. I know when I go in I will find at least one thing that I need. Another shop I went into only had 10-12 guns, and they were not anything that is very desirable (to me).

2. Attitude: You may want to check yourself first, seriously. I have worked closely with another shop out of state that a friend owned and I have seen this a thousand times, as well as many times while in the shop at Goliath.... People come in and even I can clearly see that they no intention of buying anything, but want to handle everything and are out of touch with current market conditions. Sticker shock sets in and the common "I'll come back tomorrow" excuse is heard. Or, people walk in and ask ammo prices and about stock, then walk out. This is usually the people that have not even checked what insane prices are on the internet for bulk ammo today and expect things to be sold at a loss, because they are special.

Dealing with "customers" like this is enough to make anyone grow short and to become a bit less accommodating than Mr. Rogers. So, if you come in and act like this, you very well may feel like they aren't bending over backwards for you, but if you come in and are honest you will have a good experience. I haven't seen anyone treated poorly but I have seen people treated as you would expect for someone that is acting out of line.

I live in the Tristate area (Arizona, Nevada & California) and I love to see what the area has to offer when it comes to gun shops. I visited this shop and did some shopping šŸ˜‰ and here's my review:
A good gun shop needs 3 things only (from the buyer's perspective):
1: THE PRODUCTS BEING SOLD, 2: THE PRICING, & 3: THE INTERACTION WITH THE OWNER & THE STAFF. Most of the gun shops are more or less equal when it comes to 1 & 2. The real difference comes at # 3 and this gun shop fails here miserably. Firstly, the staff and the owner are not welcoming at all. Guess, it might be a racial thing (I am not white if you were wondering). Initially, I thought that the race issue might not be real but then I realized that today was my third visit there and not a single soul at this shop was welcoming. I have not experienced this in any of the other gun shops. Secondly, the owner was not willing to hold any products for me and was very upfront, abrupt & standoffish about it. Thirdly, I agreed on a price with the owner and we shook on it too but today I ended up paying an extra 100 + dollars as they informed me that they have to add the tax in it too.
Guys, I have been to a lot of gun shops and trust me that they are dying to have my business and they work with you too. This gun shop needs a lot of work when it comes to customer service.
Now the scores:
Products: 6/10
Nothing special. Average collection of products that you can get at any shop and even cheaper if you get the products online (trust me .... do it and thank me later).
Pricing: 4/10
Over priced.
Owner & Staff: 1/10
OVERALL SCORE: 3/10
I will not be a return customer.

After being treated horribly at this ā€œbusinessā€ about a week ago. I purchased two guns elsewhere when I only needed one. I just love supporting good businesses and that’s why I support any other competing gun store in the area. I’m half white and apparently two shades too dark for good service or acknowledgement. Thank you for being transparent with your level of prejudice and lack of business ownership skills. Money is always green, have fun paying rent while trying to selling guns/ ammo at gouging prices in the middle of nowhere.

Cool store. Lots of product and ammo. Definitely a big selection. The fact they have a lot of inventory is most likely the prices. All the firearms where about 15% over everyone else’s prices in town and the Ammo was 60% more than comparable places. Guess the store front is stupid expensive or something
