What is up with everyone quitting. The only really good thing going there was for the people that worked there like Deb and the tall dark haired girl( sorry I don’t your name)! Yesterday I went there and there was no one at the register after standing for 5 minutes waiting for someone a guy said he’d go get someone and came back and I stood a few minutes more and walked out!!!!

This market WAS wonderful. The new owners, however, are terrible. I am okay with higher prices because of the convenience. The problem is certain employees/owner. I purchased an item, a week or so later I went to purchase another item and was told that when I came last time (week ago +) that I wasn't charged properly, and charged me for the mistake they made, plus my new purchase. I do not mind paying for my groceries at all. Of course I will. It was the fact they made a mistake and waited a week to find me and have me pay for their misdoing. This market has gone down hill tremendously, I have heard from previous employees that they just are not happy, and one employee said he quit because he didn't like the way one of the employees looked/commented on younger girls shopping. This place should be completely avoided if possible. I no longer do business there after many years (as a kid 'til now) You should do the same. Go to Grocery outlet, it is worth the trip.

A lovely little market where the cashier knows your name. I've been coming here since I was 12 years old. Excellent meat department with local vegetables. Open till 10pm so this is the go-to spot when everything else is closed and you're craving a late night snack. Impressive liquor and wine selection for such a small store. Don't forget to try the shawarma!

It's a good market,with lots of parking , although I find myself wishing the parking area was better lit and that there was a window in the store facing the parking area so I could check on my vehicle periodically while I shop, but it is well patrolled and Campton heights market is a quick stop for me usually. What this little store does have is probably the highest quality/lowest price meat Dept in the county, and the butcher here really knows his stuff, regularly featured are prices like one eighty-nine a lb for thick cut pork tenderloin or NY strip steaks at four ninty-nine, all with fat trimmed off to a quarter inch,t truly a carnivore's dream come true. The store also carries good quality local produce when available and sells hard liquor also. really though, for me, it's the butcher shop that puts this market on the map,

Kind of gross and ran down a bit but the reason I rank it so high is because of the selection and staff. Everyone working at campton heights is very helpful and friendly! The meat is iffy, it could be fresh or it may not be but their tenderloins are cheap and pretty good!

Clapton Heights Market is a small town shop that's big on savings and best on quality meat.It's also under new ownership. He's the best and will match prices on liquor and tobacco. If there was a zero star option this place woildnt even get that. I go in this morning to get a few groceries and this heavy set lady with glasses has this completly rude attitude then I use my EBT Card to pay and when I hand her my card she mudders under her breath "Ofcourse." Then I ask her are you always this rude to youre customers. She snidely replies "You're not the first to complain about me theyll keep me no matter what." All I can say is first, Who are you to judge anyone? And just because a person is down on theyre luck or is disabled and need the help does not make them any less of a person and doesnt give anyone the right to treat them like trash. Everyone deserves respect regardless of who they are.

I'm sure that this market is everything that all the good reviews say that it is I have never been to the market personally
but I read a post about somebody who was being treated poorely because of the color of their skin at that market it can be a bad thing to have a reputation for this .
