If I could say zero I would, I have attached pictures of the state of the rooms I was in. I switch rooms after 1 night hoping it would be better and it was not. The bathrooms had mold. The refrigerator looked like it was not cleaned. The bathroom doors were installed incorrectly. The clerks were rude. I do not recommend this location.

I hadn't been to Denver area in 10 years and was looking forward to the trip. I picked this hotel since it was central to what we had planned and I am also Gold Elite Marriott member. I had reserved one bedroom suite for a week. ||I checked in on line and was told we would be notified when room was ready - no notification. I called them before 6 to let them know we would now not be arriving until 10:00 PM ish. When I was speaking with them, I was not told that the electricity at the hotel was out. When we arrived we were told there had been electrical problems earlier in the day, and not everything was up and running. We had to be checked in manually. The room I was given was first floor. I do not stay in first floor rooms and that is in my profile. Person at desk said they had not read my profile and I was told no other rooms were available. After much back and forth a room was found. It was on the 3rd floor. I was give two keys. Went to floor 3 and neither key worked. Back to desk. Was given two more keys and an emergency key and non of them worked. Was offered a studio, but there was no exchanging the next day for a suite. Ended up staying in the first floor room with the understanding we would be moved the next day. In the morning I inquired about getting into new room. Was told maintenance was not in. We had an appointment so we quickly packed up and took suitcases to lobby. In my haste I left two item in the room - one in the refrigerator and shampoo in the bath. I had hoped since the desk knew we left quickly these would be saved for us, but they weren't. Was told we could leave out items and when the room was ready,, our items would be put in the room. They weren't. We received a call about 4:30 PM saying we could get into our room. When we arrived we saw our luggage had not been taken to the room. We arrived and they keys worked. Room was very hot - 80 degrees. We turned on the AC - it was turned off. The room never cooled below 75 no matter what temp it was set at and the AC ran all night. In the morning, the temp started to rise. I let the front desk know. They said it would be on the list and they would get to it when the could. I told them if it wasn't fixed, we wanted another room. It was fixed late morning. It was better but never really worked right - either too cold or too hot no matter the temp. We lost electricity two other times when we were there - Wednesday evening until 10:30 PM and Saturday - on and off for a few hours. We were not given updates as to when the electricity might be on. Would have been nice for the front desk to offer some water. Many of us were sitting outside. Water didn't have to be cold - just something to drink while we waited. ||Room was okay. There is a two drawer stand in the closet. Can't open the drawers all the way because it hits the 1/2 door (no full closet door) of the closet. Door would not easily slide if you wanted to hang something up of any length or use the iron/ironing board. Bathroom was small. There was rust around the plug in the tub. The shower pressure was good. Only 1 place to hang a wet towel for 2 people. Bed was okay - nothing fabulous, but okay. Kitchen was interesting. No ice bucket and the drawers were so small the silverware container was not able to be put in any drawer so it was out on the sink. We didn't use any cooking supplies, plates, etc. or the microwave. ||A light cleaning is to be every other day and if you stay for 7 days then a deeper cleaning. Since we moved into the room on Monday, we should have had a cleaning on Wednesday, but it did not happen until Thursday. ||Desk staff at best was average - really didn't go out of their way to make me fee welcome and cared for. ||Breakfast is from 6-9AM - Monday thru Friday and 7-10AM Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast was okay - eggs, egg whites, sausage or bacon, cereal, bagels, muffins, waffle iron, bananas, green apples, juice, coffee, whole and fat free milk and 1% chocolate milk, 3 flavors of yogurt. The attendant kept food area clean and stocked. ||Did not use the fitness center, business center, pool or patio which was accessible from outside or the lobby, ||Location was great for what we had planned. Staying there again would be iffy. Hotel needs to invest in a generator.

This is one of the better places I have stayed in Golden. I was impressed with the personalized welcome bag with goodies and local coupons. I stay for a week at a time so I like the larger room with the kitchen and separate bedroom. I was impressed with the bed. The breakfast is not great but works. The workout room is small. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I feel the rates are very competitive for the size of the room.

Breakfast is very good. Extremely hard to coordinate cleaning of the rooms. We were gonna all day so they could do a full clean. We left before 10am and arrived around 230 pm. To the disappointment of entering the room the same way we left. I called down to the desk and they said we are on the list. They just haven't made it yet. I said we'll they can't come now. We're getting ready for a wedding. I said mb after we leave. Not 2 seconds later they know on the door. I said you can't clean the room right now. She looked very disappointed. I told hee we were gone for a good part of the day. We were hoping the room would have been cleaned. I said mb after 430 pm. She said no that's 2 late. Kinda happened 2x. If you leave anything on the bed. They won't change the sheets. So we had one bed made out of 3 in the refresh.

I was in town visiting family and a friend from the High Country wanted to rent a room so we could spend together among our girl group. We were excited for the indoor hot tub we thought was there. Disappointed that the hot tub was not there; was told it was for 'cost effective reasons'. The pool was cool -- the temp remains the same year round -- again was told 'cost effective reasons' for that. The room was nice, so that kept the girl group happy -- but no oven in that room was a bummer. We had to return the pots to the front desk due to some rust and grim on them. The breakfast in the morning as decent, thankfully. Overall, we plan NOT to stay here in the future when I am in town visiting.

Stayed here for a few days when meeting with NREL, and did some MTB in the hills. Had a bit of snow! Handy to train station, and there is a liquor shop & a few restaurants just over the road. The sister hotel across the courtyard has a cool little bar / bistro if you need a simple feed or a few drinks.
