Best Western Plus Cedar City - Cedar City, Utah

We stayed here for the last night of our multi-night trip around Utah. The front desk agent who checked us in was very friendly, efficient and helpful, and provided us with a list of dining options in the area.

We had a 2 queen bed room, which I found comfortable, although the bed was rather noisy (boxspring). Sheets and blankets clean, no issues.

We had a fridge, microwave and coffee area.

All accessories were available: shampoo, hairdryer, towels, etc.

Breakfast was included and was sufficient, several options, including hot waffle makers.

We did hear quite a bit of noise from the room below us, and early risers from various directions, so sleeping early or late was difficult.

I'd recommend staying, especially if you're a sound sleeper.

Positive: The lobby ceilings were lovely. The court yard with the garden and fire pit was welcoming. Beautiful landscaping outside with gorgeous flowers blooming everywhere. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Our room was made up nicely on our return. Negative: Rooms were a bit Overpriced for what they were. Basic. There is a white, hot, plastic bedspread on the beds. I asked for extra towels and never received them. Behind the doors, there is dirt and leaves against the wall. Otherwise, the room was clean.

Love the area, love the view. Beds comfortable. Loved the nightly entertainment and fireplace. Breakfast was good. Loved the ability to brew your own coffee. Staff all friendly. Housekeeping staff very nice and helpful. Shout out to Janessa!

Nice hotel rooms were spacious I would say larger than typical. Clean. Only down side was one of the front desk staff was not knowledgeable about really anything. Maybe she was new, she was friendly. It's in a good location within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and a park across the street.

Reserved a accessible room. Had to have them redo. Apparently they do not know what an passible room is. No way to sit in shower. Room did not have the heat on. Was in the 20s outside. Room did not warm up completely before we checked out. Desk help had to go out of their way to assist us. Would not recommend this place ever.

Ethan at the front desk on arrival was welcoming and friendly. We were only stopping the night and it was such a perfect place to do so, the room was lovely and well appointed and the fire pit was an extra added bonus. It was lovely to sit with other travellers in the evening and chat about where we’d all been.
The Chinese restaurant next door serves really good meals and the grocery store on the corner sells most essentials.

Went in August for Shakespeare festival. Great location, within walking distance of the campus and Main Street with lots of food options, so long as a few blocks is within your walking limit. Nice to still see a hotel with free breakfast, the waffles were great! Rooms were clean, no issues with cleanliness or service. Pillows were uncomfortable, but I don’t think there exists a comfortable hotel pillow in the world, so I won’t dock points for it. 4 pillows per bed were provided.

For our interstate move from Orange County, CA, to Boise, ID, we drove 9 hours our first day and landed in Cedar City at midnight. We had prayed for a room to be available and chose this motel because of the Yelp reviews. The young woman said there was one room left. It turned out to be on the second floor, close to the street and a parking space where we could keep an eye on our U-Haul. There were no rooms on either side.

The room was clean and the king bed comfortable. The shower water pressure was good and the water was hot. We slept well. The breakfast was filling but unappetizing, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee--the usual.

We will likely not be back in the area any time soon but do recommend this Best Western.
