This hotel, whilst it’s right off the I-70, the room was quiet and offered great sunrise Mountain View’s. Derrick at the front desk was friendly and efficient. The room was super clean!! I loved the pillow choice on the bed: soft or firm!! The number of flat surfaces, to put stuff, is abundant.Free parking is a plus too. Close to everything and perfect for our outing.

Holiday Inn Express Glenwood Springs is a good hotel, very similar to others in the franchise. It’s small but ideal for staying a couple of nights while exploring the area during the day. The room was quite clean, though the air conditioner started to smell bad before we left, and we couldn’t figure out why. Aside from that, everything was fine. The breakfast area is located in the same space as the reception.

Room flooded from shower above our room. No managers on duty, which while is fine they have been ignoring my emails and calls for the past week. No other rooms in the bed we wanted. had to move us to a different room. then charged my card 3 separate times. Experience was so bad i will not be staying at a holiday inn express anywhere again.

Positive: Location was great! Breakfast was pretty good, though seating was very limited during peak breakfast hours Negative: Sadly, there were a number of concerning things. Had to kill several bugs in our room. Carpet was soaked under the AC unit, which was loud/clunky. The front desk receptionist was not there for 5 minutes when we were trying to check in. Pool was unclean.

There's nothing really wrong with this hotel. It's fairly clean, it was quiet in the night we stayed.
Here's the problem - there are no curtains on he window. There is a white screen/shade thing, but it's a big problem.
We came from the eastern time zone and are trying to get acclimated to the time difference for a week of late night concerts.
It would be something I would just assume, I would absolutely take for granted that a hotel window would have drapes. To BLOCK THE SUNLIGHT.
So we were up at 5am.
Serves their purpose, to prevent guests from sleeping in, so housekeeping can turn the room over.
I think it's awful.

Also, I haven't stayed in a hotel that didn't have water in the room in a long time.
The front desk charged us $4/bottle.

To end on a positive, yesterday we went to a nearby hot spring, we told the front desk and she gave us extra towels. Very nice.
Please let her know we left them in our room.

I really enjoyed my stay here and check in was easy. There is a 20 dollar towel deposit fee which was new for me. It’s a great location near the hot springs and the caverns park. I liked that it was tucked away and you can walk to the local park. The hotel breakfast was great and the staff managing the kitchen was attentive. I had hoped the pool was open but the jacuzzi was available. The ice machine is on the 3rd floor - so you gotta go up to 3 to get ice.

When we checked in, the staff gave us the wrong keycard, and we accidentally entered a room that was still occupied by other guests.

On the second night, the air conditioner stopped working. When we reported this to the staff, they informed us that the hotel was fully booked and couldn't offer a new room. The only option provided was to stay in the same room and request a refund through Agoda. The staff didn't come to inspect the issue or call maintenance for a repair.

Went on a trip the Glenwood, got a hotel here (first time ever getting a hotel with my partner or ever) cost me 610$ for two nights, I'm not sure if that's normal rate or not, but other than the price, there were bugs all in the room. Which we talked to the front desk lady and she said that they were seasonal bugs, which made a lot more sense but still kinda creepy to sleep with. And the other people staying there were quite loud and screaming in the halls but can't really do much about that. Other than that, it was an okay stay, definitely not what we expected with our first time getting a hotel.
