I purchased my wedding dress from Something Blu Bridal back in November, and with my fittings just around the corner, this review is long overdue.. but deeply deserved. From the very beginning, even before I walked through the door, I felt welcomed. My fiancé had called to make the appointment.. and the warmth and care shown to us from the start spoke volumes.

As a more "mature bride" with absolutely no idea what I was looking for in a wedding dress.. I felt completely at ease with Miriam, (the owner), and her incredibly kind and attentive staff. Miriam has a genuine love for what she does. She was patient, present, and generous with her time.. guiding me through a wide variety of styles without ever rushing me or making me feel pressured. She helped me discover my own sense of style and figure out what felt right for me.

It was suggested that I visit at least one other bridal shop.. and doing so made one thing very clear: Not all bridal shops are created equal! The difference in care, presence, and attention was striking. The other shop felt rushed and sales-driven, while Miriam and her team offered warmth, sincerity, and the space to feel truly supported.

I returned to Something Blu for a few more visits.. tried on more dresses.. and eventually said yes to the one. Never once did I feel like just another customer. Miriam and her team are so grounded, intentional, and dedicated to making sure you feel confident and cared for every step of the way.

Now, as I prepare for my fittings and my wedding day approaches, I feel immense gratitude. Miriam and her staff made me feel like family. She walks beside you like a dear friend or sister.. patiently guiding you through a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming. It’s been a joy, a pleasure, and an honor to bring my business to Something Blu Bridal.

I would highly, highly recommend this bridal shop to anyone without hesitation or reservation. It’s only a shame that a wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime purchase.. I would love to continue bringing my business here. Instead, I offer this review with the hope that it opens the door for others who, like me, are looking for a place where they can feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease placing their trust.

Miriam and her team at Blu are a dream. Out of all the places we visited, her warmth and welcoming demeanor was incomparable. Not to mention her selection of dresses were amazing. She takes time to LISTEN to you and brings dresses that not only you imagined but that fit your personality. Amazing service! I must say, this was the BEST bridal gown shopping experience, hands down. Miriam is extremely knowledgeable about what to suggest for her brides. She is patient and never pushy. Amazing! What a hidden gem! Our experience at Something Blu was wonderful. The selection of wedding gowns was the best I have ever come across. If you are looking for a wedding gown this is the place. My daughter got the wedding gown of her dreams. The staff was so helpful, patient and kind. We were not rushed. She tried on as many dresses as she wanted. I am so so glad we found Something Blu, a dream came true!

Miriam was absolutely amazing! Even last minute she was able to meet my vision and go beyond that for my special day! With only 2 days to spare she was able to work with me and find the perfect reception dress for me! With all that being said, I could go on and on about her seamstress!! Something Blü Bridal was the most amazing company to work with during my wedding planning process! I used their services to find and order bridesmaid dresses for my bridal party and to alter a second wedding dress that I had purchased. Miriam and her staff were so helpful and accommodating!! I was interested in specific dress styles from one particular designer, and Miriam went out of her way to order samples of the dresses in the different colors I was considering, so that I could see them in person. This made my life so much easier when choosing the dress and color scheme I wanted for my wedding. Miriam communicated throughout the entire ordering process with me, and she was always available when I reached out to her.
