The parking there and getting to it takes time and effort. The CVS is a little much for the spot they built on.
Besides that, hey, been going there over 30yrs. Of course the older cafes and small businesses are the best part of the whole area. Don't forget to check out the old turtle pond in the historic part on Park. Look for grass and palm trees.

P. S. Download the "GoTucson Parking" app on your smartphone for paid parking, which is typically during business hours. Parking is roughly $1 to $3. Otherwise suffer a $75 parking ticket! You can also use your card or coins at the parking meter. Paid parking is for 30 mins to 2 hours max.

Not bad. Cool area, the bars and restaurants were cool but shopping lacked. The only clothing shops had nothing but size small teeny bopper clothes in it. But cool area

Since my boyfriend brought me here, I have been obsessed with this place. This is an amazing shopping center. There are a bunch of cute boutiques, cafés, and diverse types of restaurants. They also offer jazz concerts during the summer. One of my favorite parts is the fact that the streetcar goes straight through Main Gate Square so I can ride to any part of downtown Tucson I want to go. Many of the reviews on here are unfair because they are reviewing an individual restaurant rather than the shopping center itself as a whole.

This is right adjacent to/ in the middle of the University of Arizona campus so there are a number of casual eateries, coffee shops, boutique stores that are aimed at the young adult market. There are many diverse ethnic cuisines represented so good if you're in a group that can't decide what it wants to eat. It's a very walkable area and there is a nice park that has a fountain in the middle. Very much a college student vibe so if you're not into this type of scene don't come to visit. Parking is on the street of your lucky, otherwise there's a big deck just north of the main area.
