Drive past A&W every weekend on my way up North. The drive thru is always busy so thought I'd give it a shot. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders. It was made FRESH!! Piping hot from the fryer, not sitting in a warmer. The chicken really surprised me. Actual white meat, juicy, real chicken, not something that was pre-formed in a factory. The cost has gone up since I last ate at an A&W, but what hasn't these days. Owner/manager walked around the dining room and asked diners how their food was. Highly recommend.

Every time I stop and get food here wether it be a meal for the whole family or just a small cone for the road, the employees always greet me and ask how I am doing. Not that I went the to be greeted, but it is nice to see how positive they all seem to be here. The food is always good too! They are attached to a gas station as well, so u can fuel up and grab a bite to eat. Very conveniently located.

Always enjoyed stopping at this A&W. There was a gentleman who worked there that was friendly and kind. Stopped yesterday, July 16, 2025. Something changed. Windows and door coming is were filthy. Dead flys and bugs laying in the window sills. Where I was siting I could see people waiting in their cars to place orders. 5 employees visiting behind the counter enjoying each other’s company. Maybe the notification of customers at the dive through ordering spot was not working. Fix it. So sad. From now on we will go to the Dairy Barn in Lena during their open hours.

A & W is located inside one end of a gas station. Workers greeted me upon entering and took my order. Food was walked to my table. The root beer came from a pull tab next to soda dispenser. Establishment was clean except a little sticky floors.

This place is awesome!! We brought our wrestling team there for dinner and they jumped into action and served everyone exceptionally well! The manager (I assume) went out of his way to bring people's food right to their table, take our garbage, engaged in conversation with everyone! Excellent service! Timely! Hard to go wrong with a great burger and a frosty mug of root beer!!!

I don't do fast food... except I got all nostalgic about A&W in the old days, with car hops, and root beer floats. So I tried it. The food is better than average and the float was good...but I remember hand dipped

The atmosphere was relaxing. The kid who took my order was friendly. I asked for mustard on my burger but not to smother it. I went up and politely told him next time not to use so much. The Root Beer was cold and tasty.

Brilliant place with amazing chicken tenders and the best cheese curds. The manager was very friendly and the service was great. I love that they had bags and outdoor seating as well. Definitely will be back!

The manager ran the store like a well-oiled machine! He welcomed all guest. Mind you the line was to the door and people didn’t wait more than 10 minutes for their food. Kudos for the impeccable service, and friendly environment!

I was so impressed with this location. It was clean, quick, and the manager on duty was amazing. He ran the place like an actual restaurant and not a fast food place. He was so attentive and walked around to ask if anyone needed anything. I will be back.
