When in the area last week, we happened to drive by Our Lady of the Woods Shrine. We decided to stop the next day. It is a very calm and soothing place. Very pretty. Highly recommend.

Super cool to see. It looks like shrine is just outside however you can actually walk into the buildings. There are prayers available with candles to light. Also had a fun log book to note who you are, where your from, and why you are there. It’s also free but donations are welcome.

A small but moving shrine with many scenes of Mary"s life beautifully portrayed. Recent renovations were meticulously completed to make the shrine even more inviting to non-Carholics. Lots of seating available on the landscaped property for quiet prayer or reflection, including an outdoor Stations of the Cross. Definitely worth a visit!
