Went straight to foodie heaven. Conch fritters alone are with the trip. The sauce they make for them is next level too. Cajun seasoning on grilled fish is complex, not just hot. Way to go, Chef! 5*****.

This is our first visit to the fish shack and the food is awesome. I love coleslaw and they make it right here and it's wonderful. My wife had mahi and she said it was absolutely fantastic. The french fries were good. I had fish and chips, it's my base meal at a new fish restaurant just to test it out. If they can do good fish and chips they probably do good everything else. The fish and chips were great. We will return.

Tried this place for the first time today. It was delicious the food tasted really fresh. The Garlic butter Cajun grilled oysters are absolutely phenomenal. We would go back a thousand times for those alone. We’re really hoping to see them as a permanent menu item! Cracked Conch was also awesome, we can’t wait to go back

I had dinner with some friends last night and as usual the food was amazing. I stuck with my usual cracked conch app and a grilled combo but I did have the pleasure trying my buddies bang bang shrimp special and I was very impressed. Make sure you ask for Jen to serve you. She's the best!!

Absolutely love Fish Shack. One of the best places for fresh local seafood in South Florida in a casual, diner-like atmosphere. This is a spot where the locals go. Don’t expect water front views or fine dining here, but DO expect top quality & freshness, along with daily updated specials for their catch of the day. The fried conch is their famous item. Not on the menu: they gave me a fried conch burger by request!! It was amazing, obviously.

The Fish Shack is a neat little restaurant with a "small family diner" type of vibe. The place is busy most of the time and the locals frequent The Fish Shack on a regular basis. They have a long list of "fresh catch" items as well. We had the swordfish and hogfish, which was something I had never tried before. Food was excellent and the fish was served hot off the grill! We always split a slice of key lime pie and their home-made version was very good - not quite as exotic and fancy as some of the higher-end restaurants do, but the flavor was very key lime!

I highly recommend that you include The Fish Shack as one of your lunch or dinner stops when in the Lighthouse Point/Pompano Beach area!

Saw them on channel 10 for having zero violations, came here for myself , they are clean and delicious. No old oil taste everything fresh ! No stomach ache. Will only order from here moving forward. I refuse to go anywhere else lol

The restaurant was recommended to me by a few locals. It is a casual spot. The staff was very friendly and the food service was fast. This place is busy.
I got the conch fritters and they were good. I recommend getting it. I then got a platter with Grouper. It came with 2 sides. I got cucumbers which had some type of vinegar dressing. It was not my thing. The fish was good. It was a small portion. It was cooked well.
The restaurant is in a shopping center. There is plenty of parking spaces around the area. The restaurant is towards the back at a corner. It was easy to find.

This is a Hidden Gem for Fresh Seafood Lovers! We recently went to Fish Shack in Lighthouse Point with a party of eight, and it was hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in South Florida! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The place has a laid-back, local vibe, but the food is anything but ordinary. We ordered a mix of appetizers to share the conch fritters, smoked fish dip, shrimp scampi and crab cakes were all outstanding and set the tone for the rest of the meal. Every dish we tried was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The grilled mahi, fried shrimp, and blackened grouper sandwiches were amazing — you can really taste how fresh the seafood is. Even with a larger group, the service was quick and friendly, and all the orders came out hot and exactly right. If you’re craving fresh seafood, generous portions, and that authentic Florida fish shack feel, this place is a must-try. We’re already planning our next visit I’d highly recommend!

What an amazing spot this is! A hidden local gem for sure. Jennifer was a wonderful waitress. Super friendly and great suggestions. If she tells you to get it make sure you order it!! Make sure you save room for the homemade dessert. If not coconut cake to go is a plus!

The bar service was nice! The conch fritters were enjoyable for my first time indulging. The caesar salad with shrimp has an amazing ratio of dressing to greens. The shrimp sizes and flavors were great! The Kung Fu wine I found enjoyable especially as someone not big on wine.
I really love the idea that you can bring your fishing catch in to be clean and cooked .

The experience was decent, but nothing remarkable. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired, particularly from a young staff member whose attitude didn't reflect the level of professionalism you'd expect in a restaurant setting. While the menu prices were reasonable, the items listed on the board were surprisingly expensive for a place of this type.

I normally will give a 5 stars, but lately, the food is not the same. I will order my Scallop fritters anytime, day or night.
But the conch salad, it is another story. It does not look fresh at all, just a spice soup with diced stuff in. The waiter offered an exchange, but we did not accept it.
