He told me about his customer, environmental, and community priorities, and it was all true. I didn't even look anywhere else when we replaced our countertops, and the price and service was great!

I recently purchased a Quartzite countertop from Architecture Stones. I worked with Abby Rios to figure out what kind of countertop I liked, the pros and cons of each, and what would work with my budget, and current kitchen design. The shop in Rockville has a large selection of slabs, but I was also able to visit one of the manufacturers (MSI) to view other options before making my final selection. Initially I got a quote for a slab they had on site, but I wanted to get comparable quotes.
While I got a very good quote from Abby, after I changed my mind about the type of countertop I wanted, she was able to beat a very competitive quote I received from another vendor. The countertop was installed first, they measured afterwards to determine the backsplash and today it was installed. I love the final effect even though my kitchen renovation is not complete yet.
The customer service and value for money from Architecture Stone can't be beat. I highly recommend visiting their store, meeting with Abby Rios, for anyone who is looking for new countertops or quartz, quartzite, marble, or granite for their renovation.

I couldn’t be happier with my new kitchen countertops! There were so many choices but I described what I wanted and Nikos found it! He was very patient and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time over three visits showing me multiple natural stones as well as quartz selections and helping me decide. It was not at all stressful but actually a very enjoyable experience. The installation was flawless and the whole process only took a couple weeks from start to finish. I recommend Architecture Stones wholeheartedly. They have the best selection and the best staff.

I recently purchased several pieces of marble from this store for my fireplace. The service was friendly and professional with a knowledge sales women (Abby). However the marble itself was not good quality. I could not pick up the pieces myself so I had someone else pick them up. Nearly every piece I purchased had a slight crack and was glued at the exact location of the crack on the back of each piece. When I emailed the sales women about this problem she responded "I remember seeing the marble when it was loaded onto the truck, and it seems that it may have been damaged during transportation. I completely understand your frustration with this situation. Unfortunately, as per our policy, we do not cover damages for pickups once the pieces are taken. However, I want to resolve this issue for you. In order to remake and replace the pieces, there will be a remake fee of $250."

The person I had pick up the piece did not have a truck, they used an SUV. Additionally, I do not believe it was damaged during transportation as it was glued on the back where each break appeared. I believe they damaged it during cutting or had a slab with imperfections that they sold me. Please take caution by picking up the marble yourself and examining each piece thoroughly before leaving the store. I will not purchase anymore material from this location as they sold me an inferior product at a premium price.

Helpful, friendly sales team; nice selection of slabs; great install experience (we had dated countertops replaced/kept the existing cabinets - I was worried about potential damage to the cabinets we were keeping, but the team was careful and did a wonderful job).

I am looking for a white quartz called Viatera Snow White and I was told by a Viatera sale rep that Architecture Stone has slabs so I can go and look at the real thing instead of relying on a sample. I called 3-4 days ago to AS and an employee, Karla put me on hold and confirmed that they had the slabs in stock. Since it will take me an hour to get there, I called again Saturday morning to make sure and spoke to the owner and he also confirmed that they had 4-5 slabs in stock. I was excited to go see it but was so disappointed once there to be told by the manager that they don't have it in stock for me to see and that it would be a special order. He suggested I look at their other 4 white quartz that they had in stock. I told him that I'm only there to see Viatera Snow White slabs (many other white quartz are more cool tone and I'm looking for a warm white) and informed him that both Karla and the owner confirmed that there are Viatera SW slabs in their warehouse. He then said Karla is a new employee and had the wrong information (she did put me on hold to confirm) and the owner said he never told me he had it in stock. I'm upset to be misled by this company for wasting my Saturday morning and time to drive an hour to be told that they don't have it. They are not professional and I would not trust them if they can't be trusted to tell the truth about an inventory.

We recently worked with Architecture Stones to install granite counters in our kitchen. We could not be happier with their work and the team. From Abby's excellent design guidance to the fantastic professionals who cut and installed our counters (on 20 year old cabinets) we could not be happier. A number of contractors would not even undertake this project and Architecture Stones did it professionally with a fantastic result.

As usual, I researched and narrowed it down to three diff fabricators in my area. Nikos, was far the most responsive and willing to help. He was always kind, even though my ideas were crazy. In the end, my wife and I are extremely happy w/ the end result. His recommendations have been spot on - especially the Mitered Island. We went w/ Quartzite for the Countertops and Porcelain.
