Been coming to this music store since I was a teenager, even got my very first electric guitar here squire affinity Stratocaster. Came in today just looking to buy strings found an amazing deal on an actual fender shop pickguard that was perfect for my partscaster project. The staff was super helpful too young men and a young lady behind the counter answered my questions and made me feel very warm and at home in the store. I get bad social anxiety so that was a major plus I appreciate you guys and appreciate Sims for the awesome deal on this pic card it's only fitting that I build my parts caster back together with parts from the store that my guitar originally came from. Support local business these guys are great Plus now they have rewards program got to love it. Thank you to the Sims crew and the workers today for the great service.

Came in thinking it was gonna be an average snobby guitar center experience, but honestly good group of staff. Great selection. Luke was extremely helpful finding my wife a Christmas guitar. He was thoughtful from the sound/build quality to the price so highly recommend stopping by!

I recently purchased a new Gibson ES-335 from Sims. They had the best price I could find anywhere in the US. Their tech set up the guitar perfectly and I dealt with Justin personally. Not sure how this place doesn’t have a 5-star average!! You will be hard-pressed to find better folks especially when this store is helmed by the amazing Jerry Sims!! I don’t live in Columbia anymore. I called no less than 5 times prior to visiting the shop to make my purchase. Every phone call was respectful and courteous, especially given my ignorance as to guitars. When I arrived at the store, I was immediately greeted by a young man asking if I needed help. I was then assisted by Justin (because the first gentleman was a drummer, not a guitarist). Justin unlocked several acoustics for me, and let me find the best one for me. Upon choosing my first guitar, Justin and Sway both leapt to action to assist me with my purchase! The customer service is top notch! The staff is beyond knowledgeable! The owner is an amazing guitarist and even better person! And I can’t wait to return many, many times! Do not listen to the negative reviews. They are false and written by people searching for attention. You will never find a better music store in the US! Thank you, Justin, Sway, Jerry, the drummer (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name), and Sims Music!! My fingers are raw, and I couldn’t be happier! Y’all rock!!

Really appreciate the guys working up there. I know I could be very awkward at times when I come in I'm very socially awkward but the staff always makes me feel very welcome and no judgment at all. Came in today to get a new nut for my squire mustang project, and was immediately taking care of by the young man at the workbench. I thank y'all for the quick and professional service as well as quickly helping me find the nut I needed.. Trying to learn more about building and customizing as well as servicing my own guitars now and with the great prices up here as well as the great guys working up here for always willing to lend advice, it's been a great experience. Been coming here since I was 15, and I'm really glad to see that Sims still here and hope to see y'all for years and years to come. Again I cannot thank y'all enough for somebody like me who it's very socially awkward to being public It really means a lot that whether your employees tried or not they give off a very relaxing vibe in that store it's like walking into my own little guitar heaven. I just wish I made more money so I could spend more with you guys.

Purchased a guitar, was treated very kind and even got a free shirt. 9/10. I understand high end guitars being locked, however the cheap $500 and under guitars being locked makes shopping difficult. Would buy from here again.
