Monterey village has so many awesome shops One of my faves is the SAA FB the Southern Arizona animal food Bank if you're ever short on food for your animals or you want to donate they could always use food for cats dogs birds you got an animal they may be able to help they're very special people there

Nice assortment of stores located here. The place always seems busy. The plaza appears to be professionally managed and free of any noticeable maintenance issues.
Numerous large potholes in the rear.

THE HOMELESS PROBLEM IS STARTING TO BECOME NOTICABLE. PANHANDLING IS ALSO BECOMING AN ISSUE.

I went to lunch with my wife at Taegukgi, which is an all you can eat Korean BBQ place. The food was good for what we paid and so was the quality. The staff is friendly and will take care of you.

Big shopping mall plenty of parking and a great selection in stores to shop at. The location tion is perf CT for me when I am on that side of town and it is very easy to get into and out of once your done

A nifty shopping center featuring Beyond Bread, Bookmans, Overtime Sports and many others. Easy access and generous parking make it a nice stop off for some lunch or shopping. Bring a sunshade if you plan on leaving your car out in the sun!

Beyond Bread was the business visited in Monterey Village. It is a place that is different from chain bread stores. Food is reasonably priced. I am disappointed that the only fruit spread offered (jelly) is a strawberry and Apple mixture that I could only eat on a half piece of toast. The breads and pastries are the stars. Rye, sourdough, raisen, sticky buns (only on weekends), danish, etc. Wine and craft beers are served, for those that imbibe. It is good that they support minority owned coffee and tea growers. However, not the best tasting brew for coffee. My wife says tea is okay. We go to the larger one that does the baking on Speedway, 6200 block, in Monterey Village. There is also a great bakery in the back called the Back Dough.

Albertsons is very friendly and thoughtful. A friend of mine forgot her expensive phone there and the next day, the saved her phone and she got it back. And it's near so many other places in the same area. From gas stations to fast food restaurants to discount tires to a full blown garage. And it's also the cheapest gas in town too. I highly recommend this part of town. Especially the old Western steakhouse saloon, Pinnacle Peak mini Old Tucson Studio's too. Plus it has other old time shops as well. Also has a mini train station track that goes around the entire outside. Just stop by and check it out. ?

Bookman's is a regular stop on my travel itenary every time I come to Tucson. This location is a vibrant, hip, happening place with patrons dropping off their used items, busy customers looking for used books, gifts, and music. I always come for vintage used CD's but you can find vinyl here, used vintage stereo equipment, musical instruments as well as sheet music. Staff are highly knowledge (remember Tower Records staff?) about everything and take the time to listen to customers to find what they are looking for. Check out lines are fast and efficient. Budget and good for the planet shopping destination.
