Came across this little gem of a florist from a recommendation of a friend. Spoke to Abby and we were able to settle on a couple of orders, one single and one multiple arrangement. My mom and I placed an order for a same day delivery and their customer service was amazing & they made ordering so easy! We told her what we wanted, she asked our budget, and it was delivered within 2 hours. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were envisioning. I highly recommend using this shop! This shop delivered flowers to my school from my husband for Valentine's Day. He had specifically ordered red roses but it was a bouquet made with white roses that were already turning brown plus the other flowers in the arrangement were wilted. I called and they came out and picked up the flowers to replace them. The owner said he didn't ask for red roses which I know he did. They brought out another bouquet with pink and red roses plus other flowers added to the arrangement. Again, I was surprised to see they had added pink roses that were already turning brown and wilting. I returned them on my way home. They seemed so nice about it when I explained that my mom was a florist and had once owned her own shop so I knew flowers and I was not happy. They took the flowers back and said they would refund my husband's $. When my husband called today they had the audacity to say they felt sorry for him because I just didn't appreciate his gift! Not true! I didn't appreciate them taking his money for dead flowers! My husband ended up getting me a beautiful bouquet of fresh red roses at Conroy Florist in Bakersfield. I would not recommend the Shafter Country Florist to anyone! I do not appreciate them talking about me because I would not accept their dead flowers!
