The Shops at Santa Anita - Arcadia, California

This mall is pretty big and has a lot of great shops and restaurants. Nordstrom, JC Penney, Macy, AMC theater, and 99 Ranch Supermarket were the big anchors. The food court was extensive and included a Dave and Busters and a Bowlero. Lots of great restaurants including the iconic Din Tai Fung. My kids loved the many Japanese and Korean gift shops. Even the food stands in the central court were good. We tasted the garlic Parmesan fries while waiting for a table at DTF and had crepes for dessert afterwards. But there were plenty of bakeries offering cakes and cookies and drinks all around the mall.
We got shoes at Sketchers, clothes at some of the boutique shops, anime books at a Japanese bookstore, checked out the Funko warehouse and played in the arcade next door. My college-aged daughter didn't want to leave.

This mall is decorated beautifully for Christmas. There are so many stores here. The department stores are Macy’s, JCPenney, and Nordstrom. There is also a Movie Theater and a Dave and Buster’s. 99 Ranch market is here and you can enter from both the outside of the mall and the inside. There are a lot of Japanese type stores at this mall. I personally really enjoy these types of stores because they sell different products from the usual stores you find in the mall. There is a huge food court with lots of different cuisines. I really enjoy coming to this mall and I will be back again.

This place is a place my family and I will go to multiple times being that we are foodies it’s the place to go, we also found the viral cheesecake from TikTok I was super happy, I’ll be going back for more restaurants also, oh and they have a 99 market that has everything asian which is my favorite also.

The Shops at Santa Anita is one of the top enclosed shopping malls in the San Gabriel Valley. The mall is currently decorated for the 2025 Chinese New Year (January 29th through February 12th, the date of the Full Snow moon.) This is the year of the Snake, associated with intelligence, love, resiliance, and shedding the past. Mall decorations include a gigantic golden snake at the center of the mall, a large, red pailou - traditional large gate covered with flowers, and more. If you, or family members or friends, are ages 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, or 96, this is the year to celebrate! -- It's worth a visit for a photo or two!

Mall feels prestigious and very clean. The design and layout is very modern. It is on a medium size mall and has a bit fluid walk design for you to navigate around.
Majority of the store here are a bit of Asian. It probably focused on the majority of the community that’s living in the area. They have from the food to all the accessories and even a grocery store inside. Parking space was a little bit full when we got there on weekday afternoon, the mall isn’t crowded as well. Recommended if you’re in the area to visit this mall.

It was our first time at this mall and we really liked it. We love going to malls we haven’t been to before, especially a two-story mall. There were a lot of shops, but the big thing that they had here was food. There are so many places to eat at, if anything, if we would go back to try the food. We saw a lot of Asian food mostly and all of it looked good. The hard part would be trying to pick out what we would want to try first.

Along with the mall, there’s a 99 market attached to it, along with the cheesecake factory being right next to it, a Dave & Buster’s, and a bowling alley.

It’s a big mall, it was fun to walk around in and we were there for four hours.

This mall has all the big department stores, AMC movie theater, Dave n Busters arcade/restaurant, bowling alley, play area for small children, plenty of food options, lots of parking, they even offer valet parking. Its all decorated for Christmas now with nice decorations also. Great place to shop and/or eat or just to go for some entertainment.
