Strawberry Victorian cake was great birthday choice. Flavorwise it was great, could be a bit improved but no one complained at party and everyone was happy so that’s good.
Excellent Custumer service and staff was nice and friendly.

Cake was fresh and fruit was perfect.
Custard in cake had good vanilla notes.

May try raspberry one next time in town for another occasion.

Weather was 107*F in car and so cake melted a bit on trip but it was worth it.

We had our wedding with Serendipity in June 2022 and went with Michelle's bakery. Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious! The cake was moist, not too sweet (like many other wedding cakes), and coordinating with the bakery was seamless. I am so happy I went with Michelle's bakery as they are truly talented in making delicious pieces of art. In fact, so many of our guests kept talking about how much they loved the cake they wanted second pieces. I HIGHLY recommend going with Michelle's bakery for your next big event!

Got a chocolate ganache and buttercream cake here for my brother’s girlfriend’s birthday. The cake was absolutely fantastic! The frosting was decadent and the bread was moist. I think Michelle’s does a really good job consistently, as there are two times in the past year I’ve picked up cakes for holiday and family occasions—each time the cake has been perfectly crafted and super tasty. The family always raves about how yummy it is!

Our go to place for cake. They have amazing European style cakes with amazing flavors and choices. The strawberry cake has real cut strawberries. The German chocolate cake was a little too rich for me but my daughter loves it. We go every year or two for over 15 years.

The victorian raspberry and victorian strawberry cake was amazing and a lot of our wedding guests who don't usually like cake told us that they really enjoyed our wedding cake! We had a 3-tier wedding cake with 125 guests and we had the first tier (to freeze for our anniversary) and about half of the cake leftover to take home and enjoy. We highly recommend Michelle's bakery!

The signature cake chocolate raspberry Victorian with the chocolate ganache frosting is to die for! I’ve also had it in white and it did not disappoint. It’s also my son’s favorite cake. I got my best friend Iris the German Chocolate and she loved it! Trust them when they tell you the 9 inch serves 30. It’s rich and you’ll want to slice thin…. The ganache is it baby… so good!

Michelle's Cakes made my wedding cake for my backyard wedding this past October 2022. I had heard of Michelle's cake through a friend who introduced me to their cupcakes. All the cupcakes I had tried were absolutely amazing, so I knew Michelle's cakes would be perfect for my wedding cake. Michelle is very communicative, prices are beyond reasonable, and most importantly her cakes are DELICIOUS! We could have easily done a cake through our caterer, but we are so happy we went with Michelle's Cakes. Could not recommend this bakery more for any event in the DMV area! A family owned and operated bakery, you will not be disappointed with their service and the quality of their cakes.

I have been a customer at Michelle's for 15 years. I have ordered cakes and picked them up for birthdays and occasions on the day. I also enjoy various assortments of cookies.

PROS:
Most recently, I ordered an European style orange poppyseed cake with orange zest in the buttercream, and a light whipped frosting. They personalized my cake and it is a unique offering. The yellow cake box is a wonderful personal touch. Friendly service.
