The prices have gone insanely up! I don't know who is doing the pricing but it's just not worth it to come here anymore. It's a shame because this used to be the best thriftstore around.

The cashed rude a lady with raid hair and the black security guard rude as hell. They tell me dispose of the hangers they point at a bin so I toss them there they get mad that it’s a trash can why am I throwing them away when they were the ones who punted where to thrown them. They kept pointing at me and following me around the store like weirdos come to check out the lady with red hair is going off about the hangers like do your job correctly how about that

Eco thrift is definitely a reasonable store. They offer daily discounts on older items that are color cordinated. The store is very organized and clean for the most part. I will say that some of the men's clothes were priced close to Ross. You just have to kinda dig and find what works for you. Parking is a little tough they have a decent lot but it gets packed quick. A downside is the line was really long even with 3 clerks it took a long time to check out

I did like this store it has been years since I came back today is (2/13/25).The only thing I didn't like is that there is no REFUND or EXCHANGE. Be sure of what you are buying. I bought a dvd and the movie was not in there just the special features disc. I bought a couple and forgot to double check them. Also the people that work there are staring too much like if someone is going to steal. I get it but its too excessive maybe stalkerish. So please do better and let people shop around not everyone steals. Also I would atleast change the policy and let people exchange if there is something wrong with the item. That is a big reason for my 1 star. I am stuck with a worthless item.

I have been going to the echo thrift on E Street San Bernardino for more than a decade. I went today and left feeling mistreated by the women that work there. I heard them snickering at me as I was looking at clothes. And they spoke Spanish so I heard them talking about me. Then as I would see them around the store they would give me eye rolling. Then when I went to go purchase my things, one of them stood staring at me with another lady and a male. Three people were staring at me as I scanned my items. The lady that was putting away clothes was all of a sudden just standing there at the scanner registers giving me the same attitude that she has been giving me throughout the store. For some reason I felt like she had told the lady manager that is always standing at the registers something bad about me because even she gave me some attitude which she has never has done in all the years I have been going. I told them why are you all staring at me? I literally always come here. The lady manager who has been there for many years answered me with attitude and said we are not staring at you. The male worker was standing literally I foot behind me and the two ladies were standing 3 feet behind me. I don't know what is going on with this new management, but I do see a surplus of women workers putting away clothes and it seems like there is now more of a gossip culture developing and therefore there is now an insurgence of negativity happening because of it.This has to stop and upper management needs to be aware of what is happening with their women workers and how they are treating other women who are shopping at Echo Thrift.
I have added my receipt to show day and time I was there. I was there on Friday, 3/29/24 at 1:51pm. Next time I go to Echo Thrift I will ask what is the name of the women I witnessed snickering at me and talking about me as well as the lady at the register that allowed for the intimidation at the register to happen. I will post their names here so upper management and the owner knows exactly who I am talking about.
