During my reunion at the University of Redlands we couldn't find a good spot on campus to get coffee, so we drove over to this place. It was delightfully unique. I really loved the cider with caramel and my wife enjoyed her cappuccino.

Heska's Sugar Shack is a hidden gem that offers a delightful culinary experience. Once you walk in you'll feel like you've been transported back to a bit of a simpler time. Between the musical instruments and the various Beatles photos on the wall, I felt like this stop was meant to be.

The breakfast sandwiches were a morning treat, featuring crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and fluffy eggs. Served with breakfast potatoes and a side of delicious red salsa, it was a hearty and satisfying meal that got us through our morning yard sale.

The turkey and cranberry sandwich struck the perfect balance between savory and sweet. Tender turkey slices and cranberry sauce melded together on perfectly toasted bread, creating a delightful crunch with every bite. The accompanying side salad was crisp and fresh.

For veggie lovers, the veggie sandwich was a colorful and wholesome delight. Packed with fresh vegetables and goodness, it celebrated the beauty of plant-based flavors.

The service at Heska's Sugar Shack was exceptional our meals were ready within about 15 minutes. Heska's is a haven for breakfast and sandwich enthusiasts. Their flavorful creations will leave you craving more. Don't miss out on their baked treats like the coffee cake I tried and coffee and drink selection. Coupled with their exceptional service, Heska's Sugar Shack is a must-visit destination for a memorable dining experience.

So glad I didn't go to Starbucks. Was on my way there when I decided to stop in here instead. Really cute place, feels like having coffee at home. The coffee shop's namesake made me a delicious Cafe au lait and a fabulous bowl of homemade turkey soup with soft, yummy, homemade bread. My 7-year-old liked it so much. He asked for another bowl.
Great personal service and far superior food than Starbucks. We will return, thank you Heska!

If you live in the area and haven't been here yet, you are missing out! This was my third visit here, and every visit has been fantastic.

This visit, I ordered a hot sandwich - the Rueben. Look at the photo. It was delicious. Enough said.

My partner ordered a cold sandwich - the Italian. She has a gluten allergy and asked for the sandwich without bread. They made it on a bed of lettuce. Fantastic stuff!

The bread they use is made by them and branded with their logo. Seems to be a theme when a restaurant makes their own bread that the food also tastes delicious. Something about passion and love for the food, I guess.

They also do live music on Friday nights. Both of the owners are really fun to talk to.

Anyways, come check out the restaurant and make your own judgment. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Walked in and I was greeted like family. Placed my order for an omelet, country potatoes and toast. My omelet was melting in my mouth, country potatoes and my toast were great and gave me warm fuzzy feelings. My coffee was amazing like a latte. The atmosphere was so cute, vintage, interesting and just gave me overall melancholy. I am definitely coming back with my family.

Amazing!!!!!! The best couple ! The best atmosphere, the best food, I can’t stress enough how wonderful my experience was , and the only bad thing is that they aren’t closer to me, but if you’re in Redlands please do yourself the favor and make this a must visit , and experience one of the best hidden gems 💎!

This was totally a random stop and it was absolutely 100% worth it. The bread is made here. The food is made here. Everything is fresh. Everything is delicious. I cannot say enough good things. You shouldn't stop here.
