I wanted to convey my wholehearted recommendation for Trish and her team. I was given her contact information through a friend of a friend and worked with her on a special outfit. My wife mentioned she liked a particular style when in Milan earlier in the year, so I thought it would be fun to create something with Trish and surprise her for a birthday dinner.

I’m a taller man with broader shoulders (6ft, 185), long arms (35/36 inch sleeve) and a narrow waist (30/31 inch). So, typically, off the rack stuff (even athletic cut) is either too tight in the shoulders and fits properly in the waist or too loose/frumpy in the lower back and waist. Trish took detailed measurements of everything, and we then started looking to design the outfit.

Based on mostly her creativity (and some of my input), we came up with a fabulous and versatile fall jacket, vest, shirt and pant outfit that could easily mix and match with quite a few pieces in my existing wardrobe. In choosing the outfit, we were able to select from what seemed like an endless array of options (color of button loop stitching, collar lining, front lining, collar shapes, monogramming detail, fabrics ... the list goes on).

At first, it seemed a little over the top ... but I stuck with and trusted the process. I was not disappointed, in fact, it was the best outfit I’ve ever worn! ‘Fitting day’ was a breeze ... I tried everything on and not a thread was out of place. It just fit perfectly and all my typical issues with fit around shoulders, waist, crotch/seat and inseam just disappeared.

I felt like a million bucks, everyone around me noticed, and most importantly, my wife noticed. She was quite surprised and conveyed that it was one of the most thoughtful and fun gifts she’d ever gotten.

Since that outfit, I’ve had a ton of existing suits/jackets altered and they look outstanding as well. Angela, one of the newest editions to the team, really tailored everything so perfectly.

So, call me one of the converted. I swear by Trish and her team, and if you want an exceptional, bespoke experience this is the place to go!

Trish Mitchell is the best of the best.
