These guys are legends. I’ve been a lot of other gun stores, often times the owners are crazy people or not even present. These guys feel like family, I went to high school with one of the people who work there. HUGE selection, customer service is on point, real Americans here. The only place I’ll be going for all my 2nd amendment needs 🫡

So I just bought a couple holsters on a walk in visit and mr.cowboy hat didn't give me the discount on 1 of my holster after I told him it was from there. And the second holster I bought isn't worth the money they charge . I'm a classic hippy. I wanted to support local biz l. I just wanted a good deal on a way to pack my firearms.and I got judged and scammed. Sad

I'm a first time firearm buyer and I give Bo and the team a 5 star review. Bo answered all of my basic questions and made the process an overall positive experience. Since then, I have purchased a second firearm, ammo and gear from the Shootist. I highly recommend the Shootist to anyone looking to purchase their first firearm.

Lowest rated gun shop in the area for a reason apparently. 1) Associate instructs me that FFL transactions are discussed via email only. You couldn't tell someone "you're going to get terrible responsiveness" more clearly than to tell them "we only accept email," and the tone is set (minus one star). 2) After 5 days, no one has responded to my email (minus one star). 3) They make you listen to a recording before you can speak to anyone (minus one star). 4) You call during normal business hours, still have to listen to the stupid phone menu, the system auto transfers you and rings more, then shoves you to voice mail never having answered the phone at all (minus two stars). So, that's 5-5 = 0 stars, but the rating starts at 1 so 1 it's The Shootist's lucky day. If they start resolving the above issues (which are disrespectful as they're wasting people's time) I will consider revising this review. Thus if you're reading this, they have not.

UPDATE: in person, they were even worse! Yikes, I’d stay away.
