We found the store when they were present at a bird expo. Birds n Paradise had a variety of parrot companions. The owner was inviting and helpful in answering our questions about a red-bellied parrot who was so energetic and playful. The red-bellied parrot was hand fed and loves people. When I had questions about her care and helping her adjust to a home with other birds and a new environment, the owner was available and answered my questions. I can’t wait to visit the store itself.

Absolutely amazed by the cleanliness and quality of this store!!!! Brought my bird in for groomer and the owner was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I had a few dozen questions for her and she answered them all with such great information and she as a joy to interact with. They have every kind of toy, cage, bird I mean you name it THEY HAVE IT!!! Not to mention all the prices are fantastic. I will definitely be back often and recommend this store to every bird lover I know!!!! I will be a customer FOR LIFE!

This place is old school I like it, they are kid friendly, the lady that works there will let you sit with a bird so they can get use to you, the atmosphere is so tropical my grandson loved it.

The owner is extremely rude. When we were buzzed in she didn’t offer any type of help, which was fine we started to look around. Someone else asked for help and she said she was too busy to answer questions as she was cleaning the floor. I was so surprised that someone wouldn’t offer information about birds they were selling. I noticed there were several special needs children and she kept brushing them off like they were a nuisance. I left. I thought I’ll give her another try and went when it was empty during the week and she spent the entire time yelling and cussing at an older lady worker that was there. She was just berating her the entire time. The owner gave attitude to my daughter who was asking a question. She acted like she could not be bothered to assist customers. This bird shop is down the street from me, I would rather drive to Riverside and go to Magnolia Bird Farm. Which I have and have bought 6 birds from and purchase all my bird seed from. They are kind and knowledgeable people who work there. I would never go to birds of paradise and I would never ever recommend anybody support this business.

Bought a sun cheek conure for my girlfriend here. Professional and Polite. Well educated in their field of aviary. Patient with me and all my questions I had. Never made me feel rushed or like I was a bother. Birds seem to be in very great health. Had my bird checked by a vet 1 day after purchasing and no complaints extremely healthy. Well mannered and would highly recommend to anyone to come here. Best place I've ever been to for birds.

Great place to check out birds outside of their cages. Went with my kids to see different birds. They loved seeing all the different types of parrots. It was loud for them at first, but I let them know the sqwaks are normal noises. The owner was extremely knowledgeable. I cracked up when she blew a little whistle and all the birds quieted down, like a kindergarten class. They have lots of cages, stands, toys, dishes, and supplies in the rear. Check it out, it's like a free zoo visit! (But buy something if you can)

It was our, my wifey & I, first time stopping by at Birds N Paradise and we were thoroughly impressed. Lots of beautiful exotic parrots 🦜 and all the necessary items for the parrots including on-site nursery. Because of all the parrots to admire and pet, I didn't have a chance to speak with any employee and/or owner of the local. But I did see a lady speaking with other customers, answering all their questions. Lord willing, we will definitely be returning in the near future and make a decision on which to purchase.

this place is EXCELLENT. i’ve been a loyal customer since 2017. they will never charge you the ridiculous fees a vet will to groom (nail clipping, beak trimming, wing clipping although i don’t recommend clipping your bird wings unless for a medical reason) and they will also check on your bird before you go to any expensive vet, just call and explain and they might take a look. they will recommend great vets as well.

i currently have 3 cockatiels, 2 of them i bought from this place and one of them is going to be 8 years old soon. i recently took my 8 year old cockatiel in for a check up after calling with the worry of plucking and self mutilation but instead she had a fatty tumor that was irritated (it might have been itchy so she was picking at it) not sure what her name was, sorry 😅 but she was great, she gave my bird some medicine as well as an anti bacterial/anti fungal spray that they sell and my bird has been so happy so far she already seems so much better just after a couple days.
