This a must stop heading into San Rafael or the rest of Northern California.

We ev super charge here and also stop by the playground for the kiddos to release some energy from the car ride over the Golden Gate Bridge.

Apple Store and bird shoe store are great fixtures.

Nice shopping mall with a clothing shop like Gap & J crew and a tech store like Apple & Tesla. Also large Nordstrom & Macy department stores are on both north & south ends of the mall.
Must not leave anything visible inside the vehicle as there were a few smash & grab incidents happened mostly a couple years back.
Really nice to see an open sitting area at the center entrance of the mall by Gap store.

We stopped here unexpectedly and had a wonderful stroll through the middle of The Village at Corte Madera. I think we were hoping to find a place where we could get a quick bite to eat and then get back to our Sonoma road trip but there were not a lot of restaurants for that so we end up going to McDonalds. The frog fountain was a whimsical surprise and there was plenty of seating throughout to just relax and enjoy the beautiful California summer weather. We did not do any shopping since that was not part of our agenda that day but I did notice the selection of shops was mid to high-end shops. If I had time I could have done some damage with a shopping spree.

Very nice and high end mall, although small, but is part of a two-sided mall, the other one is on the other side of the highway and features the same layout (outdoor, cozy Mall) with different stores

*update *
This mall has gone downhill...it's mainly car showrooms and overpriced yoga attire stores. The positive points of this outdoor mall are the multiple seating areas, the parking lot and it's walkable distance to the marshlands.

This review is targeted towards mall security. Everytime I come here I see them harassing mall employees about parking and threatening to tow their cars. Perhaps you should have a sign saying "employee parking only" so customers like myself can be respectful towards the mall employees. They're hypocrites, I always see the big security guy parking his black Volvo where employees are not supposed to park. If he wants everyone to follow the parking rule then he should too. And another thing, what's the point of having mall security when they don't do anything about car break-ins. I can see why Nordstrom hired their own private security. Also this mall is starting to look more like a car dealership with the handful of electric car showrooms.
