BlackBear Diner food and drinks large server's were here and there ours was right there when needed with main dishes to refills on the drinks!!!
Went with a good friend his treat mine was Chicken fried steak his was their special meatloaf and spices... sides salads were just right my mashed potatoes with spice tasted just right biscuits were also spot on the just kept coming.....
We were both very full with to go bags lol!.....
So if u r in the area treat yourself u won't be Sorry

Small but really adequate. Its got the bare essentials. A grocery store(Safeway) ,a CVS (pharmacy) , small department store,Starbucks in and outside of Safeway, nice spots to sit and enjoy your coffee, a UPS, bagel shop, Jamba Juice, Panera...it is not only adequate but looks nice too ..I like it. Even when I'm not buying anything I like to just walk there sit down outside and enjoy a coffee or two.

I'm a little nostalgic to this place since my first job was at the Safeway here. A lot has changed since then, even the Safeway is not the same, they changed the layout. No more Winchell's Donuts (but there's a great donut shop in it's location All Star Donuts). The Long's Drugs is now a CVS. The Sorrento's is now a Genova. But there are lots of things I like. The Black Bear Diner, All Sta Donuts, Jamba Juice and Noah's Bagels are places I like to eat. The Safeway is still my favorite in the area.

Stopped in while on a break from lyft. Was able to grab my last minute things on good deals. And continue to work right after. The cashier was nice. But to find out they no longer take the cards I couldn't remember my number to my account to save even more. Glad she told me about it so now I'll change my number to my current one to have from now on thank you

I love black bear diners in general. They are usually predictable and fast. Today was very busy for a Thursday mid-morning (11am). I would have given 5 stars, but we had to wait for food for quite some time. I think the wait staff is over welmed even though it seems like there are a lot of employees currently working. I did notice when entering that most of the lobby was waiting for to - go orders.
