I love it here, There's always someone Willing to help me regardless of what I need. Not like the homedepot where there's 100's of workers but no one has a key and/or they can't find the guy who knows the difference between screws and nails. Karl's is family

Started a project July 2023 and Karl's was my daily shopping trip for 4 months. Great group of folks, always helpful, informative and just pleasant to see every day. It was to bad that just as I started my daily routine into Karl's that "one" particular sales associate moved away. Went to Karl’s yesterday morning to have a window screen re screened a bit
I was told it would be 4or 5 days and he shoved a paper in front of me ro fill out. He acted like he was doing me a favor. Needless to say I went to Home Depot, got some screen and did it myself.
This guy really needs to hone up on his people skills. I only shop there when there is no alternative.

Since the place changed over to Karl's it had been leap and bounds better and the owners and staff are continually striving to make it better with more products, and great service. My only complaint would be that they are closed on Sundays but I get it.

Some of the associates can be a bit short with answers, and have to reference either price books or other employees, but once you get the information you need it's a decent store. I recommend giving the employees an orientation or some more training in there positions before leaving them alone to do the job. Cashier's should be knowledgeable with pricing and anything in there stations. Same goes for floor associates.

Karl's it's our new location here in tehachapi and they have a large selection of necessaries stuff. If they don't got it then then they will order it for you. Very convenient and friendly staff. I recommend Karl's if you don't want to deal with the home depot.
