We Went here on a cruise.It was very quaint and pretty little town. It has adult refreshments local activities. Such as the water planes, whale watching, bears and we even saw a huge moose. Yes,Ketchikan Is everything you want to see in Alaska.

Many many many cruise ship owned and operated businesses that will sell you the same junk your ship is trying to sell you. They will say independently owned and operated but c'mon. Same exact merchandise and pricing. What a strange coincidence! Go somewhere else in Ketchikan if you want to experience a new place. At the time of my visit it looks like Ketchikan might be replacing a main water line, so the bus stops are all wrong and times are inaccurate. Photo of creek street.

Fun town on the cruise ship route. We also took a ground tour and saw a totem pole park and a beautiful out of the way park with walking trails and flowers.

An assortment of shops selling souvenirs and an oddly large number of jewelry stores. The best store there was Tom’s Treasure, which is locally owned and features items made by local artists (candles, totems, and other Native American culture items).

I visited a Starbucks establishment and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff appeared to be well-acquainted with the customers, creating a sense of familiarity and community. It was a delightful experience overall. I ordered a Caramel Frappuccino with an additional shot of Blonde Espresso, which was expertly crafted and delicious.
