Alfred absolutely made our day!! We came in looking for cups for our picnic and he went above and beyond to get some for us. I highly recommend his store to anyone who is passing through the area.

It's very convenient and almost always has what I need. The folks there are friendly and helpful and if you are a regular just let them know what you would like them to have and they will do there best to have it when you come in next time. Makes it nice not having to go to corning or orland. And yes, they do have ice.

I first met the folks that own the store in Flournoy, Ca. when I lived a ways past there out in the sticks. I would stop and get a nice cold beer for the dusty ride home. After meeting the father, and husband of the family, we became friends. Alfred and his family are some of the nicest people you will ever come upon. The store they run in this quaint little town is housed in an original building likely built in the late 1800s. It is a neat experience just to visit the store. If you are lucky enough to be there on the rare occasion that Alfred is at the grill in back constructing his famous, "Belly Buster" burgers...you are in for a treat. We attended a fund raiser burger drive thrown by Alfred to raise funds for his beautiful daughter to go to Europe...It was packed. The burgers were awesome! I didn't know that many people even knew where Fournoy was! So, if you find yourself headed west toward Paskenta, Covolo,, or the Mendicino Nat. Forest. Stop in Fournoy and say "Hi!". It may seem like no one is there..but soon someone will be trotting out of the house to greet you. My wife and I miss living near by there. We miss these people!

Love this store, food is to die for, n the family that owns it is just that family or at least they treat u that way stop by n eat or just look at all the hand made items they have along with the soda n beer
