This park gives some much needed green to the city. There's a little pond with ducks and other birds. The Veteran's Memorial is well maintained. The pathways are brick and perfect for walking or jogging. Overall a nice place.

This is actually a pretty nice park for being in El Centro. This is probably the biggest and best in town. It has a nice playground with an obstacle course and a little lake with ducks. It seems safe at night, has security, and overall feels like a good park to bring the kids.

This is a great park. My only concerns are the stains on the floor underneath the playground (what are they Pee) and the lack of a decent wall around the pond. Considering it is right by the playground you would think they'd have safeguarded by putting a taller cement border so that children didn't fall in. It made me really nervous to take my son over there because he could easily slip away and in being that close. It would be nice if the bathrooms had a diaper changer station. Pretty much no park restrooms do but the parks are typically utilized by families with young children. We had a good time and they had some really unique things for older kids like an obstacle course. Wouldn't mind going back the next time I'm passing through.

One of the best nature spots in the area. A trail loops the man made lake which is home to ducks and geese and you'll also spot sea gulls and pigeons. It's a park that is great for individuals, families and groups. There are plenty of parking benches for sitting or hills for picnics or rolling down them for fun. Some BBQ areas around the park, covered eating areas and a kids playground with outdoors exercise equipment. There is a mini gym. Other than the relaxing view of green grass, trees and water...and the birds chirping--you can find many architectural details and art that is also endorphin releasing. From the vintage tall street lamps, the brick inlay detail on the walkway, cultural murrals and the memorial you continue to discover cool things along your walk/run. There is parking around the park and some public restrooms along with some water fountains. In few words go there if you need a breath of fresh air.

Grew up in IV, came back to visit after having been gone for a couple of decades. This park was somewhere we went all the time while growing up. I’m glad to see that they’ve tried hard to keep it up. It’s a pretty park and very large. Paved walk ways, fountains, play area, Little Library box. I enjoyed our time back here.

Took my dog out for a walk. Nice park, but, the only negative aspect of it is the water pond. It really needs to be cleaned. It's been left untreated and looks horrendous.

Beautiful park. The birds, geese, and such made the walk and picnic more scenic. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Even though i live in the next town over. I go to this park every morning. They have an artificial pond where ducks stay. The constant quacking always bring a smile to my face. Of course.. The pond gets dirty and lay out a stench at times but it get cleans occasionally. Anyways despite that.. This is my favorite park in the valley.. Great place to walk.
