My wife and I needed to purchase a new pickup to replace my F-350 that was destroyed in a fire about 3 weeks ago.( Do not purchase a Ford).Anyway our salesman was Alex Monson he was excellent I told him what I wanted and he knew what he had in inventory. He went out of his way to assist my wife and I to make sure we were taken care of.
What Alex did not know that I have 28 years of auto sales, fleet and commercial fleet sales. So I knew what to expect and what he would say. And he did a great job making sure that we were treated with respect . He is not your normal high pressure sales person.I would recommend Alex to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
Since I was paying cash I didn’t need financing but your financial advisor was very good and understanding. I did purchase an extended warranty since we were treated so well.
I will recommend that anyone purchasing a vehicle do your research on what you want and check the type of vehicle you’re looking for. ( however don’t purchase a Ford unless you want to see your truck catch on fire while you are driving)
Also , to Sand Chevrolet make sure your desk managers know there inventory and pricing.
So we did leave with a 2024 Silverado 4x4 crew cab . Thanks to Alex we left the store happy. Even though I need to come back in Monday for the chip in the windshield.

Let me just say by far the best car buying experience ever! I have been to plenty of Chevrolet dealerships. This location is the first I’ve been to. Dillon was our car salesman he listened to what we wanted and got us a great deal like he said he would! We arrived Saturday 6:30p to sign paperwork and pickup our Traverse. Me thinking they close at 9p they actually close at 7p! Dillon & Gary were so nice to stay and wait for us they didn’t rush us at all. They were patient and stayed late for us. Gary who is in the finance department who then found even a better deal to bring down our payment! The fact that Gary knew he could possibly get us an even better deal and do the work to get us below our budget I mean I’m shocked! We are so happy with our experience! Both were very nice and not at all pushy or rude. I would highly recommend this location to anyone! You can tell they care for people and their buying experience! . Thank you Dillon and Gary so much we love our new family car! I have been trying for a couple years for a family vehicle and this is my dream car! If I can give you both more than 5 ⭐️ I would give you a 10 ⭐️ !

I have NO idea how this dealership currently has the rating it does. I wish there was a way to review with zero stars. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this dealership was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others.

When my brand new car broke down leaving my kids and I stranded while the new car was towed just FOUR DAYS after purchasing, the tone of the dealership was dismissive and lacked empathy. Furthermore, would be more direct when speaking to my husband than when speaking to me. The vehicle was still in the shop being 'fixed' two weeks until we demanded a different vehicle.

Communication was poor, and when I tried to get clarification or hold someone accountable, I was met with deflection and excuses. I called the dealership no less than 10x consistently being transferred to incorrect extensions or not being able to be transferred because the person answering the phone "didn't know how to transfer the call" to my sales rep or any Manager on duty. NO ONE took responsibility, and any attempt to escalate the issue was met with apathy and finger pointing. I didn’t expect perfection, but I did expect basic professionalism and some level of empathy. I received neither.

I strongly advise anyone considering this dealership to look elsewhere. There are too many honest businesses out there to waste your time and money here. I will NEVER trust this dealer or recommend anyone do business here.

Took my vehicle to service was told the issue was my exhaust. I paid 220 for a diagnostic was told my exhaust was leaking. I had another shop look at this prior to me taking it and they stated my cat was bad it had no exhaust leak. When I picked my vehicle up I had the worse exhaust leak in my rear muffler. I was quoted 1300 to fix with the guarantee that that was the issue. I declined repairs at sands and took it to a certified dealer mechanic for the repair they stated were the cause . But my check engine light is still on.

Sands service adviser charges people for work they do not perform would never go back and deal with the service manager nor their service writer Rob Hernandez. They are crooks and only care about making money. Again a paid the diag and per the service writer my car would only need exhaust pipe to be repaired. He claimed to do a smog test but that was never done. They never did inspection of the vehicle or did a smog test. I took my vehicle to another dealer for repair. Everything that I was advised from Rob was not even the fix my vehicle needed. The general manger really needs to look into his team service manager and service advisor. I had called the service manager about my concerns regarding the tech not clocking in on inspection and all he could say is what did the advisor say. He looked at the wo and seen no one clocked into it but said his team doesn’t clock in on jobs like that. If that’s the case how would that tech be paid for time when they are price work. I believe Rob looked at a prior wo for work that I declined and without having any tech inspection quoted a service that did t need to be done to just charge me the diag fee.

The other dealer stated my cat was bad and replaced it vs Robs so called determination. I will never do business with sands well they have corrupt workers working there very dishonest and money hungry.

I then called another dealer friend thy at I have and they stated Robert is a shady person. I now see that and will never go back.

I want to give 2 shout outs. Number 1 to the sales team. This was the easiest and fastest I’ve ever bought a vehicle after 3 months of searching and being harassed by commission hungry sales people. Sands sales team did everything right and weren’t pushy which made me trust them more than most dealerships. I was a day away from using Carvana but they convinced me by just being themselves that this was the right move. Couldn’t be happier in my Tiguan.

2nd is to Manny. He runs his service team how it should be. Easy communication and makes sure that not only the car is taken care of , but the customer is as well. Thank you for helping me through the few repairs I needed and making the process easy!! I highly recommend Sands in Surprise ! They give you true peace of mind.

The service department is absolutely useless. I have brought 2 vehicles to them for different issues and both still have issues. All they want it your money and for to have to keep going back. They do and hide different things to make you have to go back and then work on your vehicle and make you pay the diagnostic fee after the “find” the issue that doesn’t fix the problem. Then want you to take it back and pay another fee to find it again. The service advisor management is useless and will not do anything to help unless you tell him what you want. That isn’t how it should work. They should be offering different services to help resolve the issues.

To begin I purchased My Certified Used Chevrolet Equinox 2020 from Sands Chevrolet in Surprise, AZ. Based on the reviews online, and the reputation of being family owned, and "The Trusted Dealership for New, Pre-Owned Vehicles, Service, and Financing in Glendale and Surprise. "Whether you're looking for a brand-new vehicle or a reliable pre-owned option. Sands Chevrolet offers high-quality choices backed by their reputation for excellent customer service." Being new to AZ everything this company advertised gave the impression that this is where a single mother of 3 needed to purchase a reliable vehicle. With that being said I purchased this vehicle 12/13/2024, it started out as a good experience but later wasn't the best. Respectfully, I will withhold the names of the sales rep and his manager. 12/27/24 I found myself stranded outside at 6:00 am with my 2-year-old, because the car battery died. I received pushback when requesting reimbursement for the purchase of a new battery but ultimately was refunded. Within 2 more weeks the tire sensor light came on. I called in asking for help and was told about their shelf life, of 5 years and now it is my responsibility to replace them, as they aren't covered under the warranty I purchased. Oddly enough everyone knows about this shelf life, but wouldn't replace the sensors prior to selling the vehicle? Within another 3 weeks the dashboard lit up with multiple warning messages, including traction, antilock brakes, and tire sensors. I called again to service and was told to change the battery. Which was highly frustrating seeing that I had already done that within two weeks of owning the vehicle. Eventually, I reached my sales rep and was told to bring the vehicle into service. After their diagnostic tests, there were multiple repairs that needed to be completed. Thankfully, I purchased a warranty, so some repairs were covered. Due to everything that happened within the first 90 days of owning this vehicle I asked for some support towards purchasing the sensors and wasn't offered anything truly beneficial. Never have I experienced a service such as this when purchasing a vehicle, new or used. What was advertised was not provided. Imagine if I hadn't had a warranty. This vehicle didn't even last 90 days without issues. Imagine if I listened to service and just replaced the battery again rather than bringing in the vehicle. Lastly, which I thought was customary but could be wrong in AZ, when your vehicle is serviced at the dealer, its usually washed and vacuumed, mine was not. I guess you have to buy new to be treated the way advertised. Lesson learned, hopefully there are no more issues, especially outside of the warranty. I wouldn't recommend to anyone in need of reliable transportation and adequate customer service.

My husband’s and my experience with Sands was amazing. I would like to Thank Sands Chevy for helping my husband and I for the second time in purchasing a vehicle. More so I would like to Thank Nick for going above and beyond in helping me get the truck of my dreams. Nick was very helpful, respectful and caring. He explained in detail what we would be purchasing along with the paperwork and answered all of our questions even days after having our vehicle. If you’re looking for a car and awesome sales associate go to Sands Chevy! 10 out of 10 recommend! ⭐️
