Moved 4 times already and this is the first time i have had stuff missing a lot of our things broken, the team they sent out was opening our box’s and just dumping them on the floor, and when i asked why are they just throwing our stuff on the floor his answer was that’s what we was told to do. If the military assign this company to move your stuff let them know you would like someone else because this company don’t know what there doin.

14 moves in 28 years, 8 of them international and more damage from the packing and loading than all the other moves together. Spent one day packing and one day loading for almost 13,000 pounds. Very rushed job. Items thrown into a box, literally, with no packing materials, no effort to keep like items together. Parts box was a joke. Bolts, screws, random metal parts in the box, nothing wrapped, nothing labeled. After three weeks still cannot find parts to assemble beds, tables and shelves. Never answer the phone, never return messages. Did find out that it was four weeks before our household goods left El Paso because? Fortunately Allied international and the local agent in Alaska are helping us with their excellent service and filing the supplemental insurance claim which we fortunately purchased. Avoid this company. Moving is not usually a fun thing to do but this company added a whole new level of frustration, anger, disappointed and cost.

Can’t speak highly enough of Julian and his crew.

They were top notch and exceeded expectations in all measurable areas.

Julian is very polite, good at communicating, helpful and stays on his crew to keep pushing to complete the job.

I informed him and his moving crew that we had just repainted the interior of our home before selling. I asked them to be as careful as they could and they went out of their way to not damage the walls at all! Not a single spot damaged in our 3 story townhome!

They also laid down coverings for our new carpets!

We will request Julian for future moves!

It's been around since my initial review but I only reviewed Allied on the end side. I felt the need to address my original issues from where it all began at this Coleman location in Midland City......

STAY AWAY!!!!! This company and its subs are awful!!!! They arrive to evaluate and everything sounds great until you sign the contract - all down hill from there. They arrived with a much smaller truck than what was agreed upon. They had to wait and go in to additional days to load house. They dropped items and took items apart they had no business doing. They were rookies that didn’t have a clue. On the end site they didn’t correctly assemble items and broken any things. The lady on the phone stated everything would be fine by filing a claim but that was more lies. They absolutely low-balled everything and now we're stuck with broken stuff - our stuff!!!!!! The claim lady wanted receipts for my claim difference but I didn’t have the receipt as it was expensive but several years older. If you go with them, expect the worse and be warned. STAY AWAY FROM THE FRAUD!!!!!!

I already tried to claim stuff but they just don't want to hear it - they really need to get some people in there who will listen.......

The packaging of my household goods went ok, but some damage was done to our flooring. Not a huge deal but the company was near impossible to get a hold of. I called daily for two weeks before I got a hold of someone, leaving messages in the process. When I finally did speak with someone to make a claim on the damage, I was told the claim was made to late and they weren't going to do anything about it. I don't generally like writing negative reviews but in this case I highly recommend doing business elsewhere. If they are moving you for the Army, ask transportation to provide you with a different company.

We used them for a military move. The entered rooms that we told them not to enter. My cats were let out. It took us over 5 hours to find one of my cats. Two workers looked around some but one worker just laughed and went and sat in the truck for the remainder of the day.
Then day two almost $100 was stolen from my 7 year old sons piggy bank. I am terrified to receive our good. I’m sure more will be wrong and I will update my review then…

We had a terrible experience with COVAN / Coleman moving. We had a tiny 1 bedroom apartment, and a 4 or 5 people crew took it super easy, taking long breaks etc. to seemingly fill the whole day. At the end, they discovered they had forgotten / overlooked a walk-in closet, leading them to be upset about having to finish it still.

More importantly, the crew ignored our suggestion in terms of dividing stuff between our UAB and HHE. They packed away things without thinking. We told them that some items needed to be together or they’re useless at the destination. They refused to reconfigure the packing at the beginning, only of course in the end to find out that it would fit. Now our items are separated, rendering them useless to us.

Lastly, I may update this review later on once we’ve gone through a full review and re-weighing process, but they claimed a $1000 overweight. This simply cannot be true, even taking into account the bizarre over-usage of card board. (Of course there’s no way for us to appeal this, now being on the other side of the globe.)
