Casa Lemus Inn and Restaurant - Raton, New Mexico

We didn't stay in a room. We are local here. I do have to say, I've been to every restaurant in Raton. This is by far the best!!! Food was delicious and fresh and 1 in the after noon, they have a pool table in the back. Drinks on tap were were variable and the service was great. I feel relieved I've finally found a decent place to eat in Raton. Please visit, and enjoy!

I only stopped in at the restaurant. My only complaint is your salsa recipe might need revision. I always expect great salsa at Mexican restaurants in New Mexico, and this salsa was not good. It’s too watery and flavorless. That aside, everything else was great! Love the atmosphere and great customer service!

I would have given Casa Lemus five stars except for one significant detail. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Part of why we booked here was the promise of a made-to-order hot breakfast. But we were traveling with a dog, and pets can't be left unattended in the room. We planned on getting our breakfast to go and eating it in the room, but come to find out they don't do to go orders for motel guests--a fact which wasn't divulged until the morning. The only option we were given was to eat on the patio. But it was a chilly morning. No thank you. So we paid for a booking that included breakfast only to not be allowed to eat said breakfast. If you're traveling without pets, this place was fantastic. But if you have a furry family member, this might not be the best pick.

We stop at Casa Lemus restaurant couldn’t find a place to eat and it was actually very good I recommend the Fajitas is a unique flavor or seasoning. Service was excellent and food was very delicious. We will be back for sure. Thank you staff for your kindness.

We stopped to eat here and our server was very attentive and polite. The food however was not good, kids pizza was hard from being microwaved, beans and rice were cold, veg fajitas tasted old, tortillas were stale. We were in a hurry so when the server offered to remake the pizza we declined.

I was tired on the road and needed a place to stop. I was able to get a room, food, and ice within 10 minutes of walking in the door. Dinner was yummy, my drinks were thirst quenching, and my room was exactly what I needed it to be. The rooms were clean. The floors look to be recently redone. The bed sheets were really soft. The bed was cozy. TV, AC, and heat worked. The restaurant was very well decorated, a place that if I was 11, I would of begged my mom to throw a birthday dinner at. Both of the ladies who helped me check in and out were genuine and nice. I try to not go back to places that I've already been, but if I'm ever falling asleep on the road again, I know that Casa Lemus will have a warm bed to keep me safe.

One of the nicer inns I've stayed at. Spotlessly clean, everything worked well including the nice mini fridge, and the shower was AMAZING.

From TA recommendations we stayed here. It was a great little motel right off I 25. It was fairly full, so the recommendations had gotten around. Comfortable bed with good sized room and great price. In room micro and refrigerator. Breakfast from the restaurant was included. We would stay here again when passing through. But- if you’re looking for a Hilton- this is not it. Pool was closed. Has an enclosed dog walking area.
