Great central landing pad for a road trip to the area - 30 minutes to central Santa Fe, 30 minutes to Los Alamos, 30 minutes to Bandelier National Monument. Decent kitchette (2 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, dishes for 4), decent views from parking lot, space to walk the dog, quiet, gorgeous comfy lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Wifi weak in the room but stronger in the lobby. King bed one bedroom suite didn't have much room to maneuver when the sofa bed is pulled out and the table only has 2 chairs.

Lorena(wants to be called lauren) and Elizabeth need to learn how to treat new employees and guest. Going into rooms talking bad about guest already staying thinking if they speak Spanish no one will understand. Giving new employees fake codes to access doors just to mess with them is very upsetting. Telling new employees that thanks to them there hours are being cut, telling the rest of the employees how "gross" the rooms are of current guest with long stays. May be considered good in the eyes of management but playing highschool games with employees they dislike should be fixed. Everyone has a right to work and guest should feel welcomed even if they are "living" in the suites. It's sad to see this company have such rude housekeepers and nothing being done.

NO Elevators in the 2 bedroom suites. Overall, we had a great stay but I need to say again what I've seen posted here frequently: If you stay in one of the "casitas" owned by HS and located behind the main Homewood Suites hotels, Please Be Aware: There are NO elevators in the casitas. We had a wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bath suite and stayed for 4 days. We had several heavy suitcases and large boxes of food items. We were not prepared to haul it up 2 flights of stairs to our room on the second floor (Room 220). Be aware of this when you book!

Spacious room and good breakfast. Rooms are scattered in several buildings, so don't unload luggage at the lobby building. Much easier to bring the car to the building you will be staying in, rather than carrying luggage from the lobby to the room.

The lobby, breakfast, and location were definitely highlights. The room was quiet but there was a definite spider issue, could have been cleaner, and it was a bit dated. The kitchen sink drain was plugged, not super impressed.

The suite we booked was perfect for the two couples traveling together! We each had our own spacious bedroom and large bathroom, and there was a nice sized living room with a couch and chairs between. The kitchen was clean and stocked with all the necessities, including a full size refrigerator/freezer. Our suite had a view of the courtyard and the pool. The hotel offered a free full breakfast buffet, and had a nice dining/common area to eat and relax. There was complimentary bottled water, and a dispenser with fruit infused cold water as well as a 24-hour coffee bar. Highly recommend this property!!

This place is outstanding. The rooms are spectacular with a separate bedroom, small living room, kitchen and of course bathroom with a separate sink area. The people working there are exceptional especially the breakfast ladies. Speaking of breakfast it was phenomenal, not your typical powdered eggs. Every day you could make a different breakfast burrito and everything seemed that it was made fresh. Coffee, juices, ready made oatmeal (my favorite). We weren't going to eat out Wednesday night because we'd had a big meal in Taos that day at Michael's but still a little hungry. Was very happy to see they had a Manager's reception with french onion soup, breadsticks, snacks and salad fixings. Everything kept in tip top shape at the hotel. The mattresses and linens were so comfortable, got a good night's slept every night. The one "drawback" folks might have is it was out of the way from downtown Santa Fe, about 12 miles. This wasn't a drawback for us because we also wanted to see the surrounding area and it wasn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It was right next door to one of the nicer casinos at Buffalo Thunder which we enjoyed when we weren't out exploring. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

This place was beyond our expectation. We stayed at the executive multilevel suite. It was basically a townhouse.

I especially want to mention Ruth, who was helping with the breakfast. She was very nice and congenial and we appreciated her.
